Abbey Clancey feels ‘judged’ by the mothers at her children’s school who think she is a ‘dumb model’
Abbey Clancy has revealed that she feels ‘judged’ by other mums at her children’s school who think she is a ‘dumb role model’.
The 37-year-old lingerie and catwalk model, who is married to former Liverpool striker Peter Crouch, 42, spoke about a unique annual school tradition called Blessing of the Pets on her podcast, The Therapy Crouch.
It involves all students bringing their pets to be “blessed” by St. Francis, but she admitted that by joining the ceremony, she feels self-conscious about how other parents view her ability to control her playing dog.

She said: ‘I actually have a real problem with people’s perception of us. Since we went to the Blessing of the Pets the other day…’
Peter steps in, telling his wife, ‘But you’re saying pet blessing like everyone else goes to pet blessing. Do you want to explain what that is?
Abbey then said, ‘Okay, the pet blessing is something our school does annually and I think it’s a lovely tradition where all your kids bring their pets and bless them from San Francisco or something.

Problem: She said: ‘I actually have a real problem with people’s perception of us. Since we went to the Blessing of the Pets the other day…’
“Our dog, among hundreds of dogs, is the only dog that is joking around. We are on trial at this point, look at them. Ex-footballer, dorky **model… can’t even control the dog’.
Peter then says: ‘But when I arrived, how did the dog behave?’ Abbey replies: ‘Because you are his master! That’s because you undermine me in the house!
Peter said: ‘Because my discipline is better than your discipline. I just walked in and said “Jeffrey sit down” bang he sits next to me.
“I feel like if you constantly tell them not to do things, you know they end up not listening, where like every once in a while I say ‘No, stop that,’ they stop because I don’t say it.” often so they know they are in trouble.

Abbey then quips, ‘Get on Super Nanny!’
It comes after Abbey revealed that none of her pregnancies were easy.
The model and footballer opened up about Abbey’s four pregnancies with her children Sophie, 11, Liberty, six, Jonny, four and Jack, 3.
He described problems like hair loss, skin problems, and uncontrollable hormones.
Abbey began: ‘You know I had so many problems during the pregnancy. I was literally sick for nine months.
‘My hair was falling out like ridiculous. I had acne, remember that rash I had all over my body, literally like a can of beans.
Peter added: “It takes its toll, doesn’t it? It’s like a natural thing, so you’re like, oh, every woman should do it, it’s hard.”
Troubles: It comes after Abbey admitted that none of her pregnancies were easy, opening up on her podcast with Peter.
Naive: The model and the footballer talked about Abbey’s four pregnancies with their children
Abbey agreed: “It’s very difficult and you know when you can’t control your hormones, which Pete thought I made up by the way.”
Peter chimed in: “Yeah, but you can’t control your hormones and then there’s whatever you were.”
Abbey insisted: ‘You can’t control it!’
Peter quipped: ‘Come on, like seriously. You know when she had the baby, every one of them. I mean it was hard for both of us.
‘And then when the baby was born, it felt like the Green Mile. You know where she exhales and all the evil disappears, it was literally like that, I swear!
Hard: Peter added, “It takes its toll, doesn’t it? It’s like a natural thing, so you’re like, oh, every woman should do it, it’s hard.”
“It’s like the baby comes out and out of her vagina, like all this bad energy just walks out of the room and then she’s just Ab again and I’m like God I love you.”
Abbey’s candor comes when the star admitted she’s a “weird in the sheets” when it comes to her love life with husband Peter.
Taking a trip down memory lane, the couple recounted on their show how they met at a birthday party in Liverpool under a restaurant where Abbey worked as a waitress.
Peter said: ‘Ab came towards me. she was crazy. I couldn’t pull a hamstring in London. I went to Liverpool and then you came here and I was like, ‘Wow, this place is amazing.
Abbey replied: ‘You marked that day. That was your first goal.
Peter continued: ‘I was struggling. Then bang: I scored two and my hat-trick was Ab on the night.
You came, and this sounds corny, but I’ve never seen a more beautiful girl in my life. I always remember your eyes. Your mom has them too. They are incredible.
Regardless, it was a good night for Peter as he was celebrating the two goals against Wigan at Anfield after 18 goalless games.

The connection was instant for the couple, with Abbey insisting that she knew he was the one on that first date.
She said: ‘I knew from the day I met you that we were going to be together forever. That sounds cheesy, but I knew that and I was like, ‘I don’t want to rush this.
