Abandoned $10 Million Hollywood Hills Mansion Built By Famed Architect Richard Tuil Is DESTROYED By Squatters

A luxurious multi-million dollar mansion in Hollywood Hills has been reduced to rubble after squatters scrawled trash, feces and graffiti on the walls reading “f**k rich people.”

Los Angeles Police Department responded to reports of screams coming from the Venetian-style home — built by famed architect Richard Tuil between 2003 and 2009.

Three people, a man and two women, were in the house when the emergency services arrived. The trio were cited for trespassing and released.

That’s what an LAPD officer told me KTLA that the house is ‘abandoned’ and that ‘they break in, squat. The screaming was someone, I think they were bitten by a dog.”

The trio said the incident was a misunderstanding, with a woman claiming she was “hired to clean up, get the squatters out, get the house ready for rent or sale.”

Tuil is a French-born architect who started his career by helping his father with renovations on the second floor of the Eiffel Tower according to his website.

He later moved into hotels and later into building luxury homes for celebrities and the lavish upper class.

Tuil spent six years perfecting the Hollywood Hills mansion with custom details, including a striped oak and limestone floor in the kitchen and travertine tiles in the boudoir.
