Aaron Rodgers has undergone surgery to repair his ruptured Achilles tendon, he revealed on his Instagram story.
The quarterback admitted he was “absolutely heartbroken” after his season-ending injury suffered against the Bills on Monday, but appeared happier as he posed with a soft smile from a hospital bed.
“The operation went well yesterday,” he wrote above the photo on his Instagram story.
“Thank you for all the love, prayers and support. And thanks to the (GOAT) Dr. El Attrache and his staff for starting me on the road to recovery.’

After his offensive line gave in to the Bills’ pass rush, Leonard reached Floyd Rodgers in the backfield.
When Floyd sacked the four-time MVP, Rodgers’ foot became stuck in the artificial turf at MetLife Stadium and ruptured his Achilles tendon, requiring the QB to be helped off the field and then wheeled to the locker room.
After further evaluation by team physicians and an MRI, he was diagnosed with an Achilles rupture, ending his season.
