Aaron Rodgers RFK Jr. running mate links laughed off by Jets coach Robert Saleh – who says his quarterback will participate in spring practice despite bombshell vice-president reports

Aaron Rodgers is expected to participate in the New York Jets’ spring training, with his coach Robert Saleh ridiculing suggestions that the quarterback will be Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s running mate. will be.

A bombshell report in the New York Times earlier in March said Rodgers and RFK Jr. had talked “fairly continuously” about the Jets star serving as his running mate, and that the NFL star “welcomed” the discussions.

Saleh, meanwhile, spoke to reporters Monday morning at the NFL coaches breakfast in Orlando and was inevitably asked about his quarterback.

“I expect him to be available in the spring,” Saleh said. “OTAs, seven on seven camps, he should be able to do all those things.

“As we get closer together in the coming weeks, we will communicate more. I fully anticipate it, yes.”

The New York Jets expect Aaron Rodgers to be fully involved in planning for the next NFL season — despite bombshell reports linking him to RFK Jr.’s running mate.

Saleh was then asked if Rodgers will have “any other things going on besides” football and plans for next season with the Jets.

Saleh laughed and said, “Not that I know of.”

RFK Jr. is expected to announce his running mate on Tuesday — according to the same Times article that linked Rodgers to the position.

Rodgers’ availability is all the more important to the Jets after the quarterback ruptured his Achilles tendon just minutes into his New York debut last season, shortening his rookie season just as it began.

It also cost the Jets campaign – one of the most hyped teams before the NFL season failed to make the playoffs despite Rodgers doing everything he could to return before hopes were dashed.

According to Pat McAfee, the ties with RFK Jr. were established. while Rodgers was on an ayahuasca trip in Costa Rica.

McAfee, who hosted Rodgers on his ESPN show every Tuesday during the NFL season, added that Rodgers did not expect the news to be reported when it was.

McAfee said, “When news broke on the Internet via the New York Times that RFK Jr. Having Aaron Rodgers as one of the finalists for his potential vice president in his currently ongoing independent presidential run sent the world into an uproar.

“Boy, I didn’t expect this one. I had no idea this would happen. I started thinking back and you can see how RFK Jr. really ruffled some feathers in the political world.

“We just happened to be in the middle of that and I didn’t necessarily like the feathers being ruffled because I had to be in the middle of a storm.

“But hey, listen. Aaron Rodgers is a friend of the program, a friend of ours, he feels, he is one of the greatest quarterbacks in the history of football.

“So I contacted sources. In my opinion, there is a chance that said person (Rodgers), who has the potential to become a future vice president of an independent president, if that were to ever happen, for the first time in the history of the United States, will never really have got. than 4 percent of the votes or something like that. I’ve done a lot of research.

“The world found out when that man was in Costa Rica. So when that photo is posted, Jordan Poyer and Aaron Rodgers, we can point out that they are currently in Costa Rica.

‘What are they doing in Costa Rica? We assume they sit down with the medicine and they said you don’t have to go to the attic and basement if you prepare for this kind of thing.

‘That’s a much nicer setup than I expected after hearing stories about ayahuasca use in Costa Rice. They were talking about sitting in teepees and I thought, “Wow, I never do that.” I’ve seen other people take videos of it and it looks like they’re walking through mud, but this seems like a really nice setup down there.

“I’m not 100 percent sure that the New York Jets quarterback necessarily knew that the New York Times was going to report that he might become vice president.

“I didn’t get a lot of follow-up questions there because he was in the middle of something, but I’m not 100 percent sure there was a full rollout plan because he wouldn’t be in Costa Rica, you would think.”

Rodgers shares Kennedy’s distrust of vaccines and the two are regular guests on anti-establishment podcasts.

Kennedy has focused on gaining access to the ballot, an expensive and time-consuming process that he says will require collecting more than a million signatures per state.

Many states require independent candidates to name a running mate before they can gain access to the ballot, a factor that prompted Kennedy to make a choice.
