Aaron Rodgers’ nasty Achilles injury mocked by Keith Olbermann… who jokingly says Jets QB’s refusal to take Covid vaccine is to blame

Keith Olbermann poked fun at Aaron Rodgers after his brutal Achilles injury, claiming the quarterback’s refusal to take the Covid vaccine is to blame.

Rodgers’ debut for the New York Jets lasted about three minutes before he was sacked and pulled from Monday night’s game against the Buffalo Bills.

The 39-year-old is due to undergo an MRI scan on Tuesday amid fears he could miss the entire season.

“Another #SuddenLisfranc for not vaccinating,” the sports and political commentator wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter, along with six syringe emojis.

Rodgers made headlines two years ago when he said he had been “immunized,” only to later confirm he had not been vaccinated. Instead, Rodgers claimed he was participating in an “immunization process by a holistic physician.”

Rodgers was fired by Leonard Floyd of the Buffalo Bills in the fourth snap of a nightmarish start to his career with the New York Jets.

It ended Rodgers’ first game for his new team minutes after it started and he will undergo an MRI scan on Tuesday to find out whether it also ended his season.

He was taken away for an x-ray, which was negative, but coach Robert Saleh admitted ‘it’s not good’. There are major fears that this will end his season.

“As far as his Achilles tendon is concerned, MRI will probably confirm what we think is already happening,” Saleh said late Monday evening. “But it’s not good.”

The Jets rebounded to win a remarkable game at MetLife Stadium, with Xavier Gipson clinching the victory in overtime with a 65-yard punt return touchdown.
