Jets coach Robert Saleh says he would be “shocked” if Aaron Rodgers’ Achilles tendon injury ended his NFL career.

The 39-year-old lasted just four starts in his Jets debut before Rodgers tore his Achilles tendon on a Leonard Floyd sack.

The injury has created uncertainty about Rodgers’ long-term future in the NFL, and Saleh was asked Wednesday if they had discussed retirement.

“I didn’t go down that road with him,” Saleh said. I’d be surprised if he goes out like this.’

The coach added, “He’s dealing with a lot of things that he’s going to have to deal with. That will be the last thing I talk to him about.’
