Kennedy, who ran as an independent candidate, praised the New York Jets quarterback’s “amazing Achilles” as they posed for a photo on social media.

Rodgers suffered a devastating Achilles injury on the first drive of the Jets season, causing him to miss his entire freshman year in New York.

The veteran would have been eligible for a playoff appearance had the Jets made the postseason, but their dismal form caused them to miss the game.

Rodgers is now still enjoying the off-season and was pictured taking a walk with Kennedy Jr, although their location remains unclear.

Rodgers has received a lot of criticism in recent months for his off-field antics.

He suggested during an appearance on Pat McAfee’s ESPN show on Jan. 2 that Jimmy Kimmel could appear on a list of associates of Jeffrey Epstein, the millionaire accused of sex trafficking involving underage victims before he died by suicide.

That escalated a long-running feud between ABC’s late-night star and Rodgers. It also proved embarrassing for Disney, the parent company of both networks.

Kimmel, who has denied any association with Epstein, threatened Rodgers with a lawsuit over the comment, saying the NFL star was endangering his family.

In another episode, he also launched into a huge monologue, ranting about a range of topics including Covid-19 vaccinations and the spread of misinformation.

In October last year, he also called Travis Kelce ‘Mr Pfizer’ after Taylor Swift’s boyfriend starred in a commercial about vaccinations.

The former Packers quarterback misled the public in August 2021 when he said he would be “immunized” against the coronavirus — which fans and media alike took to mean he had been vaccinated.

However, his vaccination status was revealed months later when he tested positive for COVID.

Kennedy launched an independent presidential bid in October after challenging Joe Biden

Kennedy, meanwhile, was criticized in July 2023 for making comments widely condemned as anti-Semitic, while claiming Covid-19 was targeted to spare Chinese and Ashkenazi Jewish people.

Kennedy is the son of the late Senator Robert F. Kennedy, who was assassinated in 1968, and the nephew of the late President John F. Kennedy, who was assassinated in 1963.

He first announced a run for the White House in April 2023, saying at the time he planned to challenge President Joe Biden for the Democratic nomination.

But in October he announced he wanted independence from the two political parties and launched an independent presidential bid.

Earlier this month, he issued a public apology after his super PAC backers aired a $7 million Super Bowl ad reminiscent of JFK’s 1960 commercial.

A report from DailyMail.com also revealed last week how fourteen disillusioned staffers quit his campaign, citing lavish spending and poor management.
