Aaron Rodgers ‘100 percent’ certain Jets mole is still leaking team secrets amid nightmare season

Aaron Rodgers is confident the Jets organization still has a leak problem, he told reporters on Wednesday.

The quarterback has repeatedly complained about leaks from the locker room, including when The Athletics reported that Zach Wilson was “reluctant” to return to the field last season after being benched for Tim Boyle (the report cited anonymous sources).

Same publication reported a stunning revelation earlier this month when they said Jets owner Woody Johnson suggested benching Rodgers following the team’s Week 4 loss to the Broncos.

And when Rodgers was asked Wednesday if the franchise still had a problem with internal discussions leaking, he had an emphatic response.

‘100 percent yes’ he said.

He added: “It starts with finding out what they are and putting an end to them.”

Rodgers, who tore his Achilles tendon in Week 1 of the 2023 season, was particularly angered by the leak last year about Wilson’s apparent “reluctance” to play for the struggling team again.

The future Hall of Famer called the leak “chicken***” and said the organization needed to “get to the bottom” of where the leak came from.

“I’ll say this when you have sources, right, and that’s always interesting,” he said on the Pat McAfee Show. “First of all, you can go down a whole rabbit hole of factual sources, made-up sources, why is someone willing to be a source?

‘What do they gain from that? But when you use sources, intentionally or unintentionally, and try to assassinate someone’s character, as that report for Zach does, I have a very hard time with that.

“I mean, you’re basically saying this guy quit the team, doesn’t want to play anymore and has given the middle finger to the organization.”

Rodgers was also concerned when news leaked that he had given the team a pep talk before they faced the Chiefs last season (while he was injured).

Additionally, he claimed to McAfee this offseason that there was an offseason report critical of the Jets’ front office – again from The Athletics – Probably from Haason Reddick’s agent.

‘[I] “I didn’t read the article, just read the headline, it sounds like it was written by Haason Reddick’s agent,” Rodgers told McAfee.

New York Jets owner Woody Johnson

That August report, published by , was titled “NFL agents dish up the best (and worst) franchises” and included comments on a number of teams submitted by anonymous representatives.

In this case, the officer alleged there was “complete disorder” at the Jets facility in Florham Park, New Jersey.

Whether that’s true or not, it’s very possible that Rodgers won’t be around next season following the firing of coach Robert Saleh and general manager Joe Douglas.

The Jets are just 3-8 and all but eliminated from the playoffs with six games remaining.

And that was said by an internal source ESPN’s rich Cimini that Johnson is highly unlikely to bring Rodgers back in 2025.

The Jets will host the Seahawks this weekend as they look to finish the season strong.
