Aaron Judge becomes FASTEST player in MLB history to reach 300 home runs in New York Yankees game vs Chicago White Sox
Aaron Judge became the fastest player to reach the 300 home run club on Wednesday night with a home run in the eighth inning.
Judge hit home run No. 300 in his 955th Major League Baseball game. The previous record was held by Hall of Famer Ralph Kiner, who did it in 1,087 games.
The New York Yankees star also hit his 300th home run in 3,428 at-bats, breaking the record set by fellow Yankee Babe Ruth, who did so almost 100 years ago with 3,830 at-bats.
Judge’s historic home run came against Chicago White Sox reliever Chad Kuhl, who had intentionally walked Juan Soto in the previous at bat.
Soto has hit four home runs over the past two days, but in retrospect, it doesn’t seem wise to give Judge a chance with multiple runners on base.
