Aaron Carter’s estate SOLD the house he died in for $850,000
Aaron Carter’s estate has put up for sale the seven-bedroom house he died in with an asking price of just under $850,000.
The 4,131-square-foot spread was noted by Christie M. Limpus of Berkshire Hathaway, who put the property on the market last week. TMZ reports.
In early November last year, Aaron’s housekeeper found him dead in one of the home’s four bathrooms, an accidental overdose, according to the coroner.
Now that bathroom is being renovated ahead of its sale, with all proceeds going to the singer’s estate and a trust for his one-year-old son Prince.
Christie told TMZ that five potential owners have already stopped by for tours, even as the bathroom is being redone.

Flashback: Aaron previously put the house on the market just a month before he died, at the time with an asking price of $779,900; pictured three days after his death
Aaron previously put the house on the market just a month before he died, at the time with an asking price of $779,900.
Even that amount was a significant increase from the roughly $430,000 Aaron paid to refurbish the property in 2019.
When he bought the house he tweeted effusively, “Finally got my first home in California, I have a place to call my own home, have been working on myself very diligently and sequentially, Mind Body & Soul and keeping myself out of trouble.” . do what I love every day thanks to everyone who believed in me at this point in my life.”
The news of the house coming on the market comes a month after Aaron’s mother released footage of the gruesome scene in which her son died, as she believes he was the victim of a crime and that he didn’t die of an overdose.
Jane Carter posted several photos of the tragic bathroom scene to her social media in an effort to bring authorities’ attention back to the matter.
The footage was taken at Mr Carter’s home in Lancaster, California on the day of the troubled singer’s death on November 5 last year.
One of the photos showed the bathtub in which the I Want Candy singer died, filled with discolored water, likely due to the natural physical aftereffects of death.
The other images show towels sprawled across the bathroom floor, with more tinted water surrounding them.
Milestone: When he bought the house, he tweeted profusely, “I finally have my first home in California, I have a place to call mine….”

Ms Carter said she had the full support of her son’s friends and family in posting the footage to help bring the matter back into the public eye.
She said she was not taken seriously by police and hoped that the post describing the horrific place of his death would lead police to re-investigate Mr Carter’s death.
She also said it was wrong for police to be able to ‘drumm’ through the house when the body was discovered by the housekeeper last year, saying that “at the very least there should have been an investigation.”
“Because of my son’s mental illness and the prescription drugs they get [the police] just wanted it to be something easy they didn’t have the time or inclination to do.’
The devastated mother added: “We want justice. We want answers.
“There are people who need to be held accountable.”
An autopsy performed by the LA County Coroner’s Office already confirmed to Mr. Carter’s family that he had not drowned.
Authorities found he had no water in his lungs, so they believe he died in the bathtub after overdosing.
Mrs. Carter told TMZLive that her son had a “number of people harassing him online” and she believed they could have harmed him.
Sad spiral: Carter spent time in rehab between 2011 and 2017
She said police checked Carter for welfare, but claimed they had not seen him in person.
Ms Carter added that she was suspicious of the way Aaron died, as there was no water from the overflowing bathtub on the edges of the bath, which she said there would have been had he been pulled out to do CPR.
“He was addicted, but I don’t think he wanted to die. I don’t think he would have done that much of that aerosol.”
But both Ms Carter and her son’s fiancé, Melanie Martin, 30, have previously claimed that a drug deal he struck the night he died could have led him to overdose.
In an interview with TMZ in January, Martin said she found text messages on Mr. Carter’s phone from a man demanding $800 for an unknown substance.
Mr Carter, who was in rehab several times between 2011 and 2017, reportedly replied to the man that he no longer needed the substance, to which the man replied that it didn’t matter as he still owed the money.
He then asked if he was being threatened, and that’s where the messages end.
