A24’s Civil War will NOT exceed three hours in length as rumors spread about upcoming action film’s runtime
The upcoming action movie Civil War will be no longer than three hours.
Several reports have been shared in the recent past regarding the length of the feature film, although A24 has confirmed this Variety that the film will be 1 hour and 49 minutes long.
The feature film, which went into production last year, will feature star performers such as Kirsten Dunst, Wagner Moura and Jesse Plemons.
A fictionalized version of the President of the United States will also be played by Nick Offerman.
Civil War centers on a team of journalists who travel across America while documenting a conflict between a dystopian government and various militias.

The feature film's development was revealed to the public in January 2022, at which point much of the film's cast had been added.
Artists including Cailee Spaeny, Stephen McKinley Henderson and Karl Glusman will round out the project's cast.
Sonoya Mizuno, who has worked with Garland on several of his previous projects, will also appear in the feature film.
Physical production on the feature began last March in Atlanta, with the team eventually moving to London.
The feature film was also produced on a budget of $50 million, making it A24's most expensive project to date.
The official Civil War trailer was released to the public earlier this month and received a lot of attention for its shocking depiction of an alternate version of the United States.
According to Newsweekthe clip sparked controversy among conservative commentators, many of whom described the upcoming film as so-called predictive programming.
Garland spoke about the project during an interview with The Telegraphwhere he stated that the feature film would be set in familiar times.

The filmmaker noted that the Civil War was “set at some indeterminate point in the future—just far enough ahead to add a conceit.”
The writer also described the feature as a “companion piece” to his most recently released feature Men, which debuted last year.
However, Garland also stated that the two films were only related “in some respects.”
Civil War is currently set to be released to the public on April 24.
