A Working Man trailer finds Jason Statham going after a human trafficking ring in this thriller written by Sylvester Stallone

Jason Statham reunites with his director from last year’s The Beekeeper, David Ayer, for his new action thriller A Working Man.

Another action icon, Sylvester Stallone, also wrote the screenplay, as he was previously developing an adaptation of Chuck Dixon’s 2014 novel Levon’s Trade as a TV series.

Although that never came to fruition, Stallone’s script was eventually used for this film, which will hit theaters on March 28.

Statham stars as blue-collar hero Levon Cade, who at first glance appears to be an ordinary construction worker after Kristin Cavalarri calls Statham her “hottest hook-up.”

But what most don’t know is that he was previously a counter-terrorism specialist who is as deadly as they come.

Cade must put those skills to the test again when his boss (Michael Pena) asks him to find his daughter Jenny (Arianna Rivas) while uncovering a massive human trafficking ring.

Cade must put those skills to the test again when his boss (Michael Pena) asks him to find his daughter Jenny (Arianna Rivas) while uncovering a massive human trafficking ring.

The trailer starts at a construction site, where Cade tells his men that today will be difficult, “but let’s all go home with as many fingers as we came with.”

He tells his boss that when his wife died and he left the Royal Marines, ‘a lot of people would have abandoned me. You gave me a job, you were patient with me. You, Carla, Jenny, you are my family.”

Then, one day, at the construction site, he sees one of his workers being mistreated, while he steps in and takes care of them with ease.

His boss’s daughter, Jenny, asks, “Levon, was that military s**t?” but he tells her, “Hey, you didn’t see anything,” while she asks, “Hey, make sure I come back if I ever need it.”

Carla (Noemi Gonzalez) reveals that Jenny went missing after going out with her friends on Friday night.

Carla and his boss say the police have no resources to deal with these cases. “They just report it and forget about it,” as they ask him to find their daughter.

He tracks down a den of thieves and takes them all out, discovering that this is a human trafficking operation.

Levon visits his blind war buddy Gunny (David Harbour) as he shows him various weapons, including an M14 “pulled straight from Sadaam’s palace,” with the high-tech addition of a Bluetooth scope.

Levon discovers that the mafia, gangs and corrupt government officials are all involved in this organization.

The trailer ends with some action-packed shots as he ties one of the ringleaders of the human trafficking ring to a chair…dangling precariously over a swimming pool.

‘Who are you? What are you?’ the man says, but Levon simply cuts the rope, causing him to fall into the pool and drown, as the trailer stops and ends.
