The Los Angeles Dodgers’ record-breaking $700 million signing, Shohei Ohtani, spoke to the press after the Dodgers became World Series champions for the eighth time. They came back from five runs down to beat the New York Yankees 7-6 in Game 5, clinching the series Wednesday night in the Bronx. Ohtani said, “We were able to get through the regular season, I think, because of the strength of this team, this organization. And the success of the postseason is very similar to how we managed in the regular season.”
