This is the shocking moment when a Tennessee high school student sprayed her teacher with pepper spray twice after he took her phone during class.
You can see the student casually following her male teacher as he fled the classroom after being assaulted for the first time β only to squirt in his face and demand, “Give me my phone.”
Other students laughed and joked as the teacher cried out and fell to his knees before the student unsuccessfully tried to grab her phone from his hand. The person behind the camera can be heard yelling ‘mace is crazy’.
According to the person who posted the video on Redditthe Antioch High School student in Nashville was “texting and Googling replies for her schoolwork.”
The user who posted the video claims that the same teacher was also punched in the face by a student at the school two months ago.
The student is seen slowly following her teacher before she sprayed it on the left side of his face, causing him to fall to his knees in the hallway of Antioch High School in Nashville
The footage was captured by another student and showed the teacher fleeing the classroom after being attacked, only to be sprayed again by the same student in the hallway
At various times during the attack, other staff tried to help when the girl repeatedly told the teacher to give her back her phone.
“She just sprayed me with pepper spray,” the teacher yelled as she spoke to another teacher seconds before spraying him again.
When she went to get her device, he pulled his arm back, prompting her to raise the mace and spray it again.
Another adult stepped in and told the girl to back off as she continued to yell “can I get my phone” and “I need my phone.”
At one point, a bystander can be heard off-camera saying, βOn the phone? This is crazy.’
The other teacher from a neighboring classroom told the girl she couldn’t get her phone back because the pepper-sprayed teacher was trying to recover.
The video ended with a teacher coughing as others intervened.
DailyMail.com has reached out to the school district to see if the female student has faced any disciplinary action or repercussions, but has not heard back.

The video was shot Friday afternoon at Antioch High School, just outside of Nashville, and shows the student yelling, “Mace is crazy.”
According to the Reddit user, the same teacher was punched in the face by another student just two months ago.
In that incident, the teacher had also confiscated a student’s phone.
The user claimed that the student cheated on a test.
The shocking video sparked an emotional reaction online with hundreds of people on social media platforms reacting to the attack.
“The sad thing is all the other kids just laugh like it’s a joke,” one Reddit user replied.
‘It should become easier to suspend or expel students for urgent reasons. Let sh**** parents bear the brunt of their passivity,β added another. “That kid laughing because the teacher got pepper sprayed sucks too.”
“At what point can teachers sue school districts for not providing safe working conditions for their employees?” one agreed.
“She should be charged with assault and deported,” another wrote.
It is unclear if the teen has been arrested or charged in this incident.
