A teary-eyed Matty Healy looks worse as he leaves the 1975 after-party

Matty Healy looked worse when he stepped out after The 1975 after-party alongside Charli XCX after their performance at the O2 Arena.

The singer, 33, made a show of sleepiness by squinting and flashing the peace sign as he left the party at London’s The Standard Hotel in the early hours.

He was joined by Charli XCX, who is dating The 1975 drummer George Daniel, as she put on a leggy display for the fun-filled night.

It comes after a Tik Tok Video showed Matty vowing not to kiss his fans in front of Taylor Swift, after she made a surprise appearance at his O2 show on Thursday.

Leaving his band’s after party, Matty cut a sleek figure in black pants and a partially unbuttoned white shirt, which gave a glimpse of his chest tattoo.

She styled her outfit with a black leather-look jacket and a pair of dressy shoes, while wearing her brunette locks in a natural curly style.

Matty seemed to have had a great night as he looked a little worse for wear, teary eyed as he smoked a cigarette and gave a thumbs up.

He was joined at the party by singer Charli XCX, 30, who looked effortlessly chic in an off-the-shoulder black mini dress.

She added a few extra inches to her body with a pair of knee-high heeled patent leather boots and slung a bag over one shoulder.

The Boys hitmaker shaded her eyes with a pair of dark sunglasses and wore her black locks in a sleek updo, with loose strands of hair to frame her face.

She showed her support for her drummer boyfriend George, whom she met while working on a song called Spinning, before they collaborated on his album Crash.

Also in attendance was Nick Grimshaw, who cut a smooth figure in a white shirt and black trousers, which he teamed with a long dark jacket.

S Club 7’s Bradley McIntosh also proved he was a die-hard fan of The 1975 when he wore a sweater with his name on it when he attended the after-party after the concert.

He matched his sweater with black jeans, white Adidas sneakers and a Los Angeles Dodgers baseball cap and flashed a big smile.

Bradley’s rare outing comes after The Mail On Sunday revealed that S Club 7 is reforming 25 years after they first found fame on a BBC television show.

As well as having fun at the after party, Matty put on another sensational show with his 1975 co-stars George, Adam Hann and Ross MacDonald at The O2 Arena.

The Friday night show came a day after Taylor Swift shocked fans when she made a surprise appearance at The 1975 show and performed Anti-Hero for the first time.

And a TikTok video surfaced showing Matty addressing the crowd at The O2 Arena on Thursday night, shortly after Taylor took the stage.

He’s becoming more and more known for his daring acts during his concerts, but Matty vowed not to kiss any of his fans in front of ‘Queen’ Taylor, 33.

Speaking to the audience, he said: “I’m not going to kiss anybody in front of Taylor Swift, have some respect.” In front of the Queen, it is not happening.

It is not known if Matty kissed any of his fans during his Friday night show at The O2 Arena.

Matty recently caused a stir on Twitter for his onstage antics, recently kissing fans and sucking on their fingers during a concert in Brighton.

In videos captured from the concert, he could be seen sucking a woman’s thumb and tongue kissing a fan.

It is not the first time that the singer has engaged in promiscuous activities during the group’s shows, regularly kissing both her male and female fans on stage.

Matty’s eventful night came a couple of months after he admitted it was hard to be sexualized by the group’s fans.

He said The Guardian: ‘People were having a romantic relationship with the band, I was sexualized to a certain extent; it was sexy, in the way that leather jackets and smoking and all that kind of shit was sexy.’

But he admitted that this description was difficult for him because he was struggling with his mental health as he had not dealt with some traumatic “early sexual experiences”.

“I’m not going to be specific, but I had some early sexual experiences that as I got older were very, very difficult to deal with,” she said.

Matty said it had nothing to do with anything that happened at home, but said his mental health had been shaped by his sexual experiences and romantic relationships as a teenager.
