A tall drink of water! Six foot five Euphoria hunk Jacob Elordi towers over his co-stars at premiere of new Elvis biopic Priscilla at Venice Film Festival
Jacob Elordi towered over nearly everyone at the premiere of Priscilla last weekend.
The six-foot-tall Aussie hunk, 26, attended the film’s launch at the Venice Film Festival, looking dapper on the red carpet in a chic black suit.
The Euphoria actor stretched well beyond his Priscilla co-star Cailee Spaeny, 25, who sparkled in a white dress with jeweled shoulders.
Director Sophia Coppola and subject of the biopic Priscilla Presley were also in attendance, looking similarly petite next to the lofty Jacob.
There were doubts whether the actor and his compatriots would be allowed to walk the red carpet at the film festival at all because of the SAG-AFTRA strike.

However, according to Deadline, Priscilla has struck an interim agreement between SAG and AFTRA that would allow Elordi and co-stars to attend the world premiere at the 80th Venice Film Festival.
Priscilla was produced by A24, which is not part of the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP), and has been awarded interim deals for two other films during the strike.

However, the similarity with the film has more to do with the fact that it was shot in Canada under the banner of TCB Productions Canada than with its affiliation with A24.
Shortly after the actors’ portion of the strike began on July 12, SAG-AFTRA issued waivers for 39 productions, including two A24 films: Mother Mary, starring Anne Hathaway and Michaela Coel, and Death of a Unicorn, starring in starring Paul Rudd and Jenna Ortega.
The waivers raised eyebrows as they included other films by A-listers like Matthew McConaughey, Mark Wahlberg and Mel Gibson, as some questioned whether these waivers conflicted with the spirit of the strike itself.

A month later, SAG-AFTRA amended the waivers, stating that they would exclude all projects filmed in the United States, thus opening it up to projects not filmed in the United States.
Because the film was shot in Toronto, it qualifies for an exemption that would allow Elordi, who plays Elvis Presley, and Spaeny, who plays Priscilla Presley, to attend the premiere.
The film follows a teenaged Priscilla Presley as she meets Elvis Presley at a party in Germany, and follows their friendship through their eventual courtship and then marriage.
Priscilla also stars Raine Monroe Boland, Emily Mitchell, Dagmara Domińczyk, Jorja Cadence, Rodrigo Fernandez-Stoll and Luke Humphrey.
