Horrifying footage captured the moment a teenage girl is attacked by high school bullies while waiting for her school bus home.

The incident took place at a bus stop outside a secondary school in western Sydney on Tuesday afternoon.

The vision showed a girl in early high school being brutally beaten and kicked by another student before another attacker joined in.

She suffered bruises and cuts to her head, arms and upper body, NSW police later confirmed.

As a result, two girls were suspended and subsequently charged by the police and will appear in court a week before Christmas. The girls involved are said to be about 14 years old.

The footage began with a female bully taunting the assaulted student by shouting “look at me” as the victim sat at a bus stop.

When the girl did not answer or look at her, the attacker then punched her in the face.

The student then grabbed the victim by the hair and threw her onto the sidewalk.

She then hit the student several times on the head before standing over her and smashing her head against the concrete.

Another student then joined in and kicked the girl as she lay on the floor.

Other students surrounded the girl who was attacked and were seen laughing, screaming and filming the incident.

The vision ended when another student got involved and separated the girls.

NSW Police confirmed to Daily Mail Australia that two girls charged were taken to Narellan station on Wednesday morning.

“One was charged with two counts of stalking/harassment with intent, fear of bodily harm, and assault resulting in actual bodily harm; the other was charged with stalking/harassment with intent, fear of bodily harm and assault resulting in actual bodily harm,” a NSW Police statement said.
