The San Jose Fire Department chief said the stripper who was filmed getting out of a fire truck in 2022 had asked for a spin around the corner, which was initially denied.

Chief Robert Sapien Jr. said in one rack that its firefighters face punishment following an internal investigation into the viral video of the “unauthorized woman” climbing out of the truck.

The firefighters told the woman they couldn’t give her a ride, but later relented and drove her around the block, Sapien said.

The fire chief said he is now working with other managers and city officials to discuss the impact and strengthen “professional behavior expectations.”

“I have initiated dialogue sessions with senior and middle management to reinforce professional behavioral expectations, a process that will cross all departments,” said the fire chief.

Chief Robert Sapien Jr. said in a statement that his firefighters are being punished after an internal investigation into the viral video of the ‘unauthorized woman’ climbing out of the truck

According to Sapien, the truck was initially headed to the Pink Poodle Strip Club to transport an “unauthorized man” from the fire station to the club where he worked.

In a statement to crown4city officials confirmed that the fire department had not received a service call to the club that night.

The fire truck left the station at 9:00 PM and arrived at the Pink Poodle at 9:06 PM.

An investigation showed that the woman’s ride was finished at 9:10 p.m.

After the truck left the Pink Poodle, which prides itself on being “San Jose’s only completely naked strip club,” it stopped for two minutes at 9:14 p.m. near AJ’s Restaurant and Bar at 1111 Auzerias Ave. 9:20 pm.

“Using a city vehicle to transport unauthorized passengers was a violation of city and fire department policies, including the city’s code of ethics and the use of city and personal vehicles, as well as ride-along program of the fire service,” the statement said.

“In addition, it was against city and department policy to move the fire engine outside the area it is assigned to without being dispatched,” it continued.

In March, the fire chief said he called for strict discipline for all involved.

Sapien called it “deeply detrimental to the trust of our community and our staff.”

It is not clear what disciplinary action has been taken against the firefighters.

That’s what the San Jose City Manager’s Office has told Fox News digital that ‘discipline is a confidential personnel matter’.

The investigation into the situation was first launched after the video was shared online by San Jose Foos’ Instagram account.

The short video shows the bikini-clad getting out of the truck and walking towards the club.

“Only in San Jose do you see a stripper coming out of a fire truck,” the Instagram post read.

Officials initially reacted strongly to the video, with one leader calling for harsh punishment.

“We can’t relegate a life-critical emergency rescue device to a party bus,” San Jose Mayor Sam Liccardo said in October.

Liccardo said, “Heads should roll.”
