A Simple Favor 2 star Henry Golding has dished on the upcoming sequel in a candid new interview.
The sequel sees Blake Lively, 36, and Anna Kendrick, 38, reprise their roles from the hit 2018 film β with exclusive footage from DailyMail.com showing Lively’s Emily Nelson marrying hunky actor Michele Morrone, 33 .
Golding β who plays Emily’s first husband Sean Townsend β shared AND: ‘I was there too! But I didn’t get any pictures.
He added that the dress Lively wore was “a latex wedding gown.”
He added, “Maybe I gave away too much!”

Lively’s wedding dress featured a plunging neckline, floral embellishments, a dramatic skirt and an endless veil that hung over the pink carpet.
Her hair was done elegantly, with several white flowers in her bun.
A Simple Favor 2 is the sequel to the 2018 dark comedy directed by Paul Feig, who returns to direct the next chapter.
According to a synopsis, A Simple Favor 2 sees the return of Stephanie Smothers (Kendrick) and Emily Nelson (Lively) as they head to the beautiful island of Capri, Italy, for Emily’s extravagant wedding to a wealthy Italian businessman.
βAlong with the glamorous guests, expect murder and betrayal as you sign up for a wedding with more twists and turns than the road from the Marina Grande to Capri’s town square,β Variety revealed.
Kendric is excited about the sequel, saying that Stephanie has “got a little smarter in her,” but “at the end of the day, she’s still Stephanie,” says Kendric. E! News.
“I’ve read the script now,” the actress told the outlet, “and it’s so good.”
Andrew Rannells, Bashir Salahuddin, Joshua Satine, Ian Ho and Kelly McCormack all reprise their roles from the first feature film.

Amazon MGM Studios announced last month that the sequel, which will be co-produced by Lions Gate, plans to begin filming and streaming on Prime Video this spring.
The original film, A Simple Favor, was released in 2018 and was based on the book of the same name by Darcey Bell.
It followed quirky single mom vlogger Stephanie, who finds herself a little lonely as she tries to fit into her Connecticut community.
She feels like something is missing in her life, but befriends another mother: Emily, a beautiful woman who lives in a modern mansion, has a great job and a great fashion sense.
But then Emily disappears and Stephanie starts looking into her past, which is very suspicious.
The film earned nearly $100 million worldwide at the Lionsgate box office and reviews were mostly positive.
