‘Immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) is an autoimmune disease that can lead to easy or excessive bruising and bleeding.
“The bleeding is due to unusually low platelets — the cells that help blood clot.”
Laura gave a message to her followers and concluded: ‘If you are an ITP patient, my thoughts are with you. Don’t let it get you down. Follow your dreams. Everything is possible. You don’t have to let it stop you…’
