Laura Hamilton has revealed that she has remained friends with her ex-husband when she spoke about their breakup on Saturday.
The 40-year-old A Place in the Sun presenter announced the end of her nine-year marriage to Alex Goward, 41, in January, but sparked rumors of reconciliation this summer after a series of family vacations.
She has now confirmed that the couple are just friends as they continue their “fantastic positive approach” to parting ways with their two children, Rocco, eight, and Tahlia, six.

Speak with The sunLaura explained that Alex attended the recent 40th birthday party with his family and that they will be spending Christmas together.
She said, “I’ll tell the kids we can see this is a challenge, but let’s try to get something positive out of it.
“We’re going skiing together on Boxing Day, which will be another family vacation – my ex-partner is coming and the kids are really looking forward to it.”

She continued: “We always said we would get co-parenting for our children and that we would continue to have family vacations. I am very grateful that we have a fantastic positive parenting approach.’
Last month, Laura sparked speculation that she might reconcile with her ex-husband Alex after the couple enjoyed a second vacation together in three months.
The presenter of A Place In The Sun was joined by insurance broker Alex in the Greek holiday resort of Kefalonia in August.

It comes weeks after they were both photographed at the exclusive La Manga Club in Spain during the biannual May break.
During their latest outing, Alex shared a story on his Instagram jet skiing, tagging Kefalonia as his location.

In May, while on holiday in Spain with their two children, they were equally secretive and shared similar snaps of the exclusive La Manga Club resort overlooking the golf club from their balcony.

She also uploaded photos of their children playing in the pool, including one of her relaxing with a drink in a deep red swimsuit during the £400 a night retreat.
Laura announced they broke up in May when she posted a photo of a framed message on Instagram that read, “Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.”
In addition, she wrote: “This is not something I ever thought I would say, but after 13 years together, Alex and I broke up.

“Our children are and will always be our number one priority and we would respect our family’s privacy at this time.”
The message was posted weeks after herself and Alex was enjoying a trip to Lapland with their two children.
Shortly after the split was confirmed, Laura revealed she had moved to new premises in Surrey, close to their marital home, and revealed she was in the midst of a major renovation.
The former couple also owned a coffee shop in Purley called Lord Roberts on The Green, but three months after the split it changed hands to Ghazala Akhtar.
