Laura Hamilton had to stop filming A Place in the Sun after house keys went missing.
The 42-year-old TV star presents the daytime Channel 4 show, which sees British couples view luxury homes abroad, but he recalls a time when a “disaster” struck during filming, bringing everything to a standstill.
She explained that filming for an episode in Florida had to be halted because the keys were locked in the house, meaning she couldn’t show potential buyers around.
She said The sun: ‘There was an episode I did where the keys to the building were unfortunately left in the building, and we couldn’t film it.
“That was a bit of a disaster. It was in Florida, but that was so many years ago. So we had to end it and show them the property the next day, which obviously wasn’t ideal. But it was just one of those things.”

She noted, “It was like, who has the keys? Oh, God, you know, imagine that thing happening at home. Who has the keys? Who has the keys?”
Just a few days ago, MailOnline revealed that Laura is in a relationship with a married businessman.
She has been in a relationship with CEO James Pettigrew, 44, since January, her first romance since her split from Alex Goward, after whom she was married for nine years.
Sources close to the couple say James is spending “all his time” with Laura, although this has “upset” James’ estranged wife.
A friend told MailOnline that Jackie ‘didn’t know’ her husband was dating Laura at the start of their relationship and is now going through a painful divorce.
