A Place In The Sun star Laura Hamilton confirms she is ‘dating’ again after previously being linked to a married man following her own divorce

Laura Hamilton has confirmed that she is dating again.
The 42-year-old A Place In The Sun presenter split from her husband Alex Goward, 43, in 2022 after ten years of marriage, with whom she had children Rocco, 10, and Tahlia, 8.
At the time, she was believed to be in a relationship with a married businessman, but she now insists she is just “having fun” and has decided dating apps are not for her.
Laura and CEO James Pettigrew, 43, who has two daughters with Jackie, were pictured laughing together at the Scottish FA Cup final in May, enjoying corporate tickets to the match between Old Firm rivals Celtic and Rangers.
She told The Sun‘s fantastic magazine: ‘I’m dating. I’m having fun. No, I don’t have the apps. I’ve been trying them for the last three years. I went on Raya and thought, “This isn’t for me.” I like meeting people organically.’

She was thought to be in a relationship with a married businessman, but she has now insisted she is just ‘having fun’ and has decided dating apps are not for her.
The TV star also admitted that her fame often sparks conversation with her potential suitors.
She said, “People look at me and say, ‘I know you from somewhere…’ and then a conversation starts.”
But the TV presenter was surprised when a man she was on a date with asked her for real estate advice and had to tell him that wasn’t what she was there for.
The blonde beauty admitted that dating can be difficult as she is always abroad filming.
She then joked that she would actually have to have “a man in every country” before she would insist that monogamy is the only thing she would settle for.
She said, ‘Really, I should have a husband in every country. That would be a more interesting story. [laughs].
‘Oh, she’s got one in Ibiza, she’s got one in Ibiza, she’s got one in Mallorca. No, that’s not me.’
Laura has been a presenter on A Place in the Sun since 2012 and regularly posts photos of her sunny holidays and film shoots on Instagram.

Since 2012 she has been a presenter on A Place in the Sun and regularly posts photos of her sunny holidays and film shoots on Instagram.
Laura also explained that she went through a lot of changes in her life during her time on the Channel 4 programme, most notably her engagement, the birth of her children and her divorce.
The former Dancing On Ice star said she felt like she had ‘failed’ during their divorce, prompting Laura to move out of the couple’s Surrey home.
She said, “We’re co-parenting, and it’s working. But even that, you know, I felt a little bit like I had failed.”
In February 2022, Laura purchased a new home and spent two years renovating the house before selling it earlier this year.
