A convicted pedophile has been arrested after setting up a homeless camp outside San Francisco school with a sign offering “free fentanyl 4 new users.”
Adam Moore, 46, set up an encampment opposite the Stella Maris Academy in the embattled California city more than two years ago.
Moore was stationed outside the school with signs offering free drugs, with one reading “Free Fentanyl 4 New Users” and another reading “Meth for Stolen Items.”
Speak with ABC7Moore insisted the sign was not a ruse – and that he was actively distributing the deadly drug.
Moore told the outlet, “It’s not a joke,” and said he would pass on the drugs other people gave him in exchange for the supplies he provides.

According to California’s Megan’s Law website, Moore was convicted in 1997 of lewd or lascivious acts with a child under 14 and released in 2002.
The San Francisco Standard reported that he has been arrested five times in the city since 2007 for allegedly failing to reregister his address as a sex offender every 30 days, according to court documents.
According to a 1997 Santa Cruz Sentinel article, Moore was convicted of molesting a 12-year-old girl in Santa Clara County before being released and then having sex with a 15-year-old girl in Santa Cruz.
Moore also told ABC7, “So they bring me trash that they’ve collected, things that they think are valuable, or they give me some of the medications that they have, which I don’t do.
“I only live by two rules: be kind to others and make it seem easy to children.”
Moore is not considered a “high-risk” offender, so he does not have to stay 600 meters away from a school.
Neighbor Jon Chintanaroad told the outlet, “My wife lets our baby walk around on her own. I always want to be there, because you never know.
“And it just sucks to always have that feeling of being on extra alert. In a neighborhood that is supposed to be quiet and residential.’
On Friday afternoon, Moore was taken into custody after officers ordered him to move.

Officers from the San Francisco Police Department arrived on the scene in the morning and told Moore to leave at 12:15 p.m., which he said he did not do. NBC.
