‘At approximately 1:20 am, Port Authority Police received a report of an American Airlines bus theft. The bus was stolen from Lot 12 at John F. Kennedy International Airport,” a Port Authority Police spokesperson told DailyMail.com.

Police eventually saw him driving the bus south through Manhattan and stopped it moments after it crossed the Brooklyn Bridge, they told the New York Post.

They said Quildon first joined the Van Wyck Expressway and Grand Central Parkway in Queens before crossing into Manhattan and driving down FDR Drive toward Brooklyn, where he was finally stopped at Cadman Plaza West.

Quildon, of Brooklyn, has been charged with grand theft and criminal possession of stolen property. He has nine prior arrests, including robbery, marijuana possession, assault and traffic fraud.

Police have said Quildon was on probation at the time of his arrest for a 2015 domestic burglary. They told the Post that he “is known around the department” and has a history of primarily domestic violence.
