A look at Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady’s dueling renovations! Supermodel spruces up $11.5M Miami Beach home as NFL star continues to build $17M mega mansion across the water from his ex-wife

NFL superstar Tom Brady and supermodel Gisele Bundchen shocked the world when they announced last October that they were ending their marriage after 13 years and two children together.

But despite their divorce, the former power couple live just steps away from each other in the exclusive Indian Creek Island community – also known as ‘Billionaire Bunker’ – in sunny Miami Beach, Florida.

Shortly after news of their divorce, it was reported that Gisele, 43, had “secretly” purchased a fixer-upper across the water from Tom for $11.5 million that summer.

Meanwhile, Tom has kept the $17 million mega-mansion he and Gisele bought in 2020 with the intention of spending the rest of their lives under one roof.

And now, a year on from the couple’s shock split, DailyMail.com has obtained photos showing the state of Gisele and Tom’s separate homes and the extensive renovation work currently underway.

Indian Creek Island is considered “the most exclusive community in the world” with just 34 homes spread over 300 acres – all of which overlook the waterfront of Biscayne Bay, near Miami.

The couple had made plans to move into the high-security enclave after purchasing the $17 million property. They demolished a pre-existing 5,772-square-foot home on the lot so they could build a state-of-the-art, eco-friendly mansion in its place.

Construction was in its early stages in the months leading up to the divorce and DailyMail.com last viewed the property in exclusive photos obtained in January that showed exponential progress.

Now, some nine months later, it’s clear that construction has continued at a steady pace as the NFL star’s pool, detached gym and the house itself have really taken shape.

Palm trees and green shrubs now populate the once arid, sand-filled border that surrounded the 1.8 hectare property.

The place seems tailor-made for the star, as there is also an organic garden, pickleball court, yoga terrace, solar panels, a cabana, prep, main and outdoor kitchen. It includes three buildings: a main building, a security post and a gym.

Floor plans of the home obtained by the Post show it spans a whopping 17,000 square feet and includes five bedrooms and 11 bathrooms, along with an elevator, a movie theater and a guest suite.

Although he and Gisele paid a whopping $17 million for the property, Page Six previously claimed they also paid an additional $10.12 million in construction costs.

Once construction is finally complete, Tom will be neighbors with Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump, hotel magnate Jeffrey Soffer and billionaire investor Carl Icahn.

Page Six previously reported that Tom’s ex-wife Gisele closed on her five-bedroom, 6,600-square-foot home in Miami Beach on October 6.

A source told the outlet at the time that Gisele was “actively looking at homes in Miami Beach even before Tom took his break from the NFL” — referencing the athlete’s infamous retirement.

The insider claimed this “indicates she was already done with the marriage and moving on” before their divorce in late 2022.

‘You could literally swim from Gisele’s house to Tom’s – not that they would do that – but both houses will have a jetty, so it would be very easy for them to co-care with their children while living so close together.’ , she added.

The property features soaring 80-foot ceilings, a large outdoor pool, home theater, gym, several terraces and views of the waterway and Indian Creek Island.

The place appears to have been completely gutted from the inside and the roof is being completely redone as blue tarps have replaced the house’s original brown shingles.

The master bedroom balcony, which can be seen in the listing photos, has been torn apart and extended to create a wider view.

The backyard pool is being completely redone, but the landscaping has been left largely untouched, as has her personal dock.

Together, the former couple owned numerous properties across the country, including a $3.6 million condo in New York City, a $17 million mansion located on Indian Creek Island in Miami, a lavish estate in Yellowstone, Montana, which reportedly worth $5.7 million, and a stunning home in Costa Rica.

The exes have two children together: a son Benjamin, 13, and a daughter, Vivian, 10. Tom also has a 16-year-old son, Jack Moynahan, from a previous relationship with actor Bridget Moynahan, 52.

Gisele started dating the football star in 2007 and was with him for more than a decade before confirming their divorce in October 2022.
