A-listers left with nothing after California wildfires: Destroyed homes of Adam Brody, Anna Faris and James Woods after mansions burned to ground
Not even Hollywood elites can escape the wrath of the California wildfires raging through Los Angeles.
Dozens of stars are among the 30,000 people currently under evacuation orders as the fires continue to rage.
The upscale neighborhood of Pacific Palisades has been reduced to ash and rubble, with several celebrities among those who have lost their homes.
Actors Adam Brody and Leighton Meester’s $7 million mansion is one of 1,000 structures destroyed as a result of the wildfires.
The couple bought the five-bedroom home in 2019, but photos show the property is now up in flames.
The Nobody Wants This star, 45, and Gossip Girl actress, 38, were last pictured in public at Sunday’s Golden Globe Awards, less than two days before the fires broke out.
They lived in the 6,000-square-foot home with their two young daughters.

Former talk show host Ricki Lake shared an emotional post in which she mourned the “immeasurable” loss of her “dream home.”
Lake, 56, bought the property in 2014. She and husband Ross Sussman got married there in their backyard just three years ago.
‘I can’t believe I’m typing these words […] Ross and I lost our dream home,” Lake wrote on Instagram.
‘This description of ‘dream house’ does not suffice. It was our heaven on earth. The place where we wanted to grow old together.
“We never took our heavenly spot on the bluff overlooking our beloved Malibu for granted, not even for a second. This loss is immeasurable.”

Star Wars actor Mark Hamill revealed he was bundled out of his Malibu home on Tuesday night during a ‘last-minute’ evacuation.
He said there were “small fires” burning on “both sides of the road” as he approached the Pacific Coast Highway and called the blaze the “most horrific fire” since 1993.
Reality stars Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag confirmed their home was also lost.
Pratt, 41, was captured in photos watching the rapidly advancing fire move toward his home.
Fortunately, the couple and their two sons were able to evacuate safely earlier in the day before the flames got too close.

A second fire, called the Eaton Fire, broke out about 30 miles (48 kilometers) inland in Altadena, near Pasadena, growing to 1,000 acres from 200 acres in a few hours, according to Cal Fire.
Mandy Moore and her three children evacuated their Pasadena home as the catastrophic fire continued to spread westward. The This Is Us star, 40, says the family and their pets are safe.
A third fire, called the Hurst Fire, had also broken out in Sylmar, in the San Fernando Valley northwest of Los Angeles, prompting the evacuation of some local residents.
The raging infernos rage through neighborhoods that dozens of A-listers call home, including Jhene Aiko, Tom Hanks, Miles Teller and the Kardashians.

Schitt’s Creek star Eugene Levy has been a member of the affluent Pacific Palisades neighborhood for years. He and his wife Deborah Devine bought their home there in 2006 for $2.4 million, Tuko reported.
As the fire swept through his hometown, Levy, 78, told the Los Angeles Times he became caught up in the standoff of fleeing locals.
The actor told the newspaper, “The smoke looked quite black and intense over Temescal Canyon. I couldn’t see any flames, but the smoke was very dark.”
Firefighters continue to battle intense wildfires in suburban Los Angeles, which have devoured buildings and prompted panicked evacuations as hurricane winds fueled rapid fire growth.
Frightened residents abandoned their cars on one of the few roads in and out of the upscale Pacific Palisades area and fled the 5,000-acre inferno on foot.
Two people have been killed and dozens of others injured. Homes and businesses have been razed to the ground by the flames.
On Wednesday, California Governor Gavin Newsom declared a state of emergency.
