A-list Australian actress attempts to go incognito in Italy – so do you know who it is?

She may be attending one of the world’s biggest film festivals, but Nicole Kidman made sure to blend in with the locals this week.

The Australian actress made a glamorous appearance at the Venice Film Festival earlier this week, but in between press duties for her new film Babygirl, Nicole made sure she was hard to spot.

The 57-year-old woman wore a hoodie and a cap, hiding her famous face in photos she posted to Instagram on Sunday.

Other photos show Nicole putting on make-up in an evening dress, but with her back to the camera, sitting on a canal boat and hiding her face.

She also gave her fans a candid glimpse into her life behind the scenes, looking groomed to the nines and ready for her red carpet appearance.

Nicole looked stunning as she arrived at the Hotel Excelsior on Friday during the 81st Venice International Film Festival.

The movie star looked stunning that day in a black midi dress with a plunging neckline that accentuated her slim figure.

The garment featured short sleeves and pleated shoulders, while Nicole elevated her height with a pair of white kitten heels.

The Oscar winner wore her blonde locks in a ponytail and completed her outfit with sunglasses.

In Babygirl, Nicole plays an influential New York businesswoman who begins a risky affair with her much younger intern.

The actress recently admitted that she isn’t sure if she has the “courage” to go see the film at the Venice Film Festival.

Speaking with Vanity Fairshe said, “There’s something inside me that says, ‘Okay, this is made for the big screen and to be seen with people. I’m not sure I have that much courage.'”

“I’ve made some films that were quite revealing, but not like this.”

Nicole added that Babygirl is the most “revealing” film of her career so far.

The Big Little Lies star said she’s most concerned about the film’s racy sex scenes.

She said, ‘It’s like, golly, I’m doing this, and now it’s actually going to be seen by the world. That’s a really weird feeling.’

Nicole expressed concern about the audience seeing the sex scenes, admitting she felt “battered” by the “vulnerable” filming process.

In Babygirl, Nicole takes on the role of Romy, a businesswoman who tries to combine her career with her marriage to a theater director (Antonio).

Their marriage takes a hit when new intern Samuel (Harris) makes it clear he’s attracted to Romy and they begin exploring a “forbidden sexual dynamic.”
