Eagles star AJ Brown sparked trade rumors Thursday when he changed his social media profile picture to Tom Brady — but the receiver said afterward he was merely paying tribute to the “greatest ever.”

And while some took the move to indicate Brown could be on his way, he quickly dismissed the idea of him leaving Philly.
“TB12 is my favorite player ever,” he wrote in a now-deleted tweet.
“I watch the Dynasty and it brought back some memories from my childhood. Go look up what he did in 2015 when he was doubted/disrespected. Yes, I see the disrespect. Motivated… yes. That is it.’

While Brown doesn’t appear to be making any moves, believing the trade rumors wasn’t completely unfounded.

Besides, Brown recently seemed to follow suit both Patriots quarterback Jacoby Brissett and receiver KJ Osborn on Instagram.
The Eagles won’t want to lose Brown after he put up 1,456 yards and seven touchdowns last season.
And according to reporter Albert BreerPhilly has shut down all Pro Bowl receiver inquiries they’ve received this season.
Brady, meanwhile, recently teased a possible return to the field following his second retirement.
