Some people feel very comfortable working from home, according to a new report.

The report prepared by Ofcom reveals that a fifth of Britons admit to watching pornography during working hours.

Of the 13.8 million people who watch pornography online, more do so between 9:00am and 5:30pm than at any other time of the day.

And it’s not just a quick session – people who watch porn in a workday spend 55 minutes on adult sites on average.

According to the report, the majority of pornography viewers are male, with men making up 73 percent of the total.

Opening hours were only tracked in terms of popularity in the early hours of the morning, between midnight and 8:59 a.m., when 18 percent of users visited adult sites.

The least popular time for Britons to access adult content was between 5:30pm and 7:59pm, with only 13% visiting the sites during this time.

However, Ofcom says it cannot be certain whether this behavior is due to increased working from home because it has no data from previous years to compare to.

Pornhub remains the most popular porn site in 2023.

In May, 18% of adults accessed the site, which is almost as many as the next two most popular sites combined.

According to Pornhub, the UK has the second highest number of visits to the site of any country except the US.

“Twenty-nine per cent (13.8 million) of UK online adults accessed a pornographic content service in May 2023, and access remained relatively stable year-on-year,” the report said.

Ofcom also notes that more adults were accessing the most accessed porn sites in 2023 than in 2022.

Five of the top 10 porn sites say their traffic has increased by at least 10 percent, while OnlyFans’ user base has seen growth of nearly 20 percent year-on-year.

Ofcom says it cannot confirm whether this pattern is due to the rise in working from home as there is no data from previous years to compare to (stock image)

The report added: “The top ten pornographic content services vary slightly depending on the age of the user.”

However, they note that “adult gif site Redgifs… only appears in the top 10 for adults under 25.”

While age has not been a determining factor in pornographic habits in Britain, there are significant differences between the sexes.

Overall, men were three times more likely than women to access pornography online.

However, erotic fantasy sites were proportionately used at a much higher rate by women than by men.

Lush Stories and Literotica had audiences that were over 40% female.

However, the site that was most popular among women was a site called Bellesa which specifically targets a female audience.

While women make up only 27 percent of porn viewers, this site’s audience was 65 percent female.

The Ofcom report also found that hentai, which the authors described as “a subgenre of anime or manga that includes explicit sexual content from anime and manga,” was mostly accessed by young people on desktop or laptop computers.

The audience for hentai, which was the third most popular search term on Pornhub globally in 2022, was 89 percent male and was most popular among 18-24 year olds.

The report indicates that the “Hentai Heroes” site ranked as the 40th most popular adult content site in May 2023.

However, when looking only at people who accessed porn using a computer rather than a phone, it jumps to the ninth most popular adult site in the UK.

What are the most common types of viruses from pornography?

There are ten digital STDs that can harm your device when you’re looking at adult content, according to computer security company Kaspersky Lab.

here they are:

1. Trojans – They may disguise themselves as innocent programs, but they carry a malicious payload.

2. Drive-by downloads – Cybercriminals look for unsafe websites and implant a malicious script into the code on the pages. These programs take advantage of any unpatched applications on your computer and automatically infect them

3. Click theft – Click theft involves tricking someone into clicking on one object on a web page while they think they are clicking on another. Clickjacking can be used to install malware, access a victim’s online accounts, or enable their webcam.

4. Tinder Bots – These are automated programs designed to masquerade as real people on the dating site to lure users into clicking on them, with the aim of tricking the victim into revealing confidential data.

5. Catfishing – This occurs when cybercriminals appear on dating sites or chat rooms, encouraging people to click on links to live sex chat or adult photos.

6. Ransomware – Cybercriminals use “blockers” to prevent the victim from accessing their device, often telling them this is because they have identified “illegal pornographic content” on their device. Anyone who has accessed pornography online is likely to be less likely to take the matter to law enforcement.

7. Worm – This is a program that copies, but does not write its code to other files: instead, it installs itself once on the victim’s machine and then looks for a way to spread to other machines.

8. Pornware – This may be legitimate software, but it may also be adware installed by other malware, designed to deliver inappropriate content to the victim’s device.

9. Spyware – software that enables the attacker to secretly obtain information about the victim’s online activities and secretly transmit it from his device.

10. Fake Antivirus Software – Fake antivirus software preys on people’s fear of malware that they believe may have been installed while looking at porn.
