The verbal dispute then turned into a “public smackdown.” The women hit the victim “several times with their hands in the face and upper body,” according to a police report. Fox news reported.

It’s unclear how each woman met or how long the love triangle had lasted, but Zuloaga was reportedly living with the man at the time.

Perez reportedly roughed up her cheating beau and told her fellow Miami-Dade cops that she pushed and punched him multiple times, CBS news reported.

Zuloaga was taken to the MDPDsspecial victim bureau and Perez was transported to the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.

It is unclear what position Perez has in the police force and how long she has been with the police force.

After the attack, Perez was relieved of her duty with payment pending until prosecutors review the case, a report said.

Miami-Dade Police Director Freddy Ramirez said Monday he was “disappointed by this officer’s actions.”

“We are held to a higher standard of conduct on and off duty. While this officer was off duty, her behavior was unacceptable and goes against our department’s core values,” Ramirez said in a statement.

‘We will work closely with the Public Prosecution Service and ensure a thorough and transparent investigation.’
