A device that charges your phone in SEVEN SECONDS will launch later this year for £180

There are few things more annoying than being about to leave the house and realizing you forgot to charge your phone.

But a Qatari technology company has developed a solution to this problem: a machine that fully charges a mobile phone in seven seconds.

The home device, called Swapery, delivers lightweight battery packs that magnetically stick to the back of the phone and connect to the charging port on the bottom of the cellphone.

Long waits to charge your devices could soon be a thing of the past once the ‘Swapery’ hits the market later this year

The battery packs each weigh about the same as two AA batteries and are compatible with all smartphones.

Users place their phone in the Swapery, which automatically removes the used battery and replaces it with a fully charged battery.

The device, which is expected to cost around £180 and will be released in Britain later this year, can hold five charged battery packs at a time, making it ideal for a family, according to its makers.

“Modern smartphones run out of battery very quickly and it’s easy to forget to charge them,” says Ali Salah, creator of the Swapery.

“With our device, you’ll never have to worry about having to charge your phone before going to bed or having to deal with charging cables again.”
