Another woman has spotted a strange Tic-tac-shaped object in the skies over the UK, the second in as many months.
Karen Brown, from Stockport, was looking out her kitchen window when she spotted an unidentified flying object (UFO).
Her photos show the luminous rectangular object – which at first glance looks similar to the famous white mint – swaying above the trees at night in September.
A similar UFO – perhaps the same one – was seen by a Stockport resident the following month.
Experts have been intrigued by the presence of aerial entities resembling the original 'Tic Tac' UFO seen in 2004 – but there may be a simple explanation.
Karen Brown, from Stockport, was looking out her kitchen window when she spotted the unidentified flying object (UFO).
Pictures show the illuminated entity swaying above trees in the suburb of Heaton Mersey at night
Ms Brown said she was “really fascinated” by the mysterious phenomena she observed on September 6.
“I was looking out my kitchen window and noticed what I thought was a star,” she told MailOnline.
“But when I really looked it was round with little circles around the outer edge.
“I took these pictures but the shapes were changing.”
Last September, a Stockport resident, who preferred to remain anonymous, spotted two strange objects in the night sky.
The first, which was described as resembling a square or triangle, had a blurry appearance and was changing shape and “darting around the sky.”
Meanwhile, the second object – which is brighter white and “tic-tac-shaped” – continued to fade and reappear.
It's not clear whether Tic Tac sightings by two different people in the same city are of the same thing.
Ms Brown told MailOnline: 'It was very strange for a lady in Stockport to see something at the start of October, and I had a similar vision at the start of September.'
Its brilliant white color makes it stand out in the British night sky. This comes nearly two decades after the discovery of the original “Tic Tac” UFO in the United States

Earlier in 2023, a Concerned Citizen shared her encounter with two unidentified flying objects (UFOs) from her backyard in Stockport.
According to the Defense and Security Media Advisory Committee (DSMA), the matter falls under the remit of UK Space Command, which MailOnline has contacted for comment.
Nick Pope, a UFO expert who previously worked for the British Ministry of Defence, described the presence of Tic-Tac-shaped objects in the skies of the UK as “interesting”.
He told MailOnline: 'Any mention of a Tic-Tac-shaped object performing unusual maneuvers is particularly interesting given the US Navy's view of such objects.'
Another British UFO researcher, Philip Mantel, said: “I see no reason why these images could not be of a plane or a drone.”.
“It's basically light in the distance, the elongated shape made by the photographer's unsteady hand,” he told MailOnline.
“Why do two people discover the same thing in consecutive months?” Well, planes may be scheduled to take off at certain times, and this is the flight path they take.
When the Tic Tac UFO was spotted nearly 20 years ago, it marked a seismic shift away from entities viewed as mere “flying saucers.”
US Navy aviators were flying a routine training mission with the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz off the coast of Southern California in November 2004.
On board the plane was US Navy Lieutenant Alex Dietrich, who was the first to do so I noticed an unusual “ripple” of the ocean surface before seeing the Tic Tac UFO.
One of the most famous and unusual UFOs to date, spotted by the US Navy in 2004, has been compared to the Tic Tac breath mint due to its white, rectangular appearance (pictured)
The smooth, white rectangular object flew at high speed over the water, moving and accelerating in ways that seemed to defy the laws of physics.
“It appears to have responded in a way that we did not recognize,” Dietrich told Reuters in 2021, and appeared to lack “any visible flight control surfaces or means of propulsion.”
She added: “We don't know what it is, but it could be a natural phenomenon in human activity.” “But the point is, he was a stranger, and we couldn't identify him.”
The US Department of Defense – known as the Pentagon – has refused to comment on the recent Tik-Tac images in the UK.
However, the usually secretive branch of government has been more transparent about what it knows regarding UFOs in recent months.
A Pentagon document published in the summer revealed this A typical foreign body has a round shape, usually spherical or orbital, and is white or silver in color.
