A BILLIONAIRE’S guide to gift giving! Luxury experts reveal lavish presents being exchanged by the world’s WEALTHIEST people this Christmas – from $40K-a-night vacations to $750K Hermes Birkin bags
Women who work with billionaires, businessmen, moguls and celebrities have revealed what the world's richest are giving each other for Christmas: from an entire vineyard in Italy to $500,000 for private jet rides.
Nicole Pollard Bayme, an “internationally renowned” stylist and personal shopper who has worked for “royalty, celebrity and Forbes list individuals” from Los Angeles, California and New York-based “luxury travel consultant” Elisabeth Brown has defrauded a number of businesses from the things the richest people in the world have gifted their loved ones with Business insider.
According to the ladies, they've seen their customers spend millions of dollars on holiday gifts, splurging on everything from custom designer items to glamorous outings.
Nicole, the founder of the styling agency LalaLuxe, recalled that last year, just days before Christmas, one of her clients asked for an extremely rare Himalayan Hermès Birkin bag.

Nicole, the founder of styling agency LalaLuxe, recalled that one of her clients asked for a Himalayan Hermès Birkin bag as a gift for a loved one at Christmas last year
The handbag costs a whopping $432,000, but Nicole's client wanted it to have diamond hardware, which she said brought the price tag to $750,000.
The handbag is known to be one of the most expensive Birkins ever released, costing a whopping $432,000.
Nicole's client wanted it to have diamond hardware, which brought the price tag to $750,000.
Getting her hands on such a bag so quickly wasn't the easiest feat, but Nicole said she “asked her international network of Birkin dealers for help” and luckily she was able to get it in time for Christmas – after letting it flying 'with its own security detail.'
Something else Nicole — who charges $600 an hour for her services — received from a client last year to give as a Christmas gift was a personalized Goyard luggage set (one alone costs $10,000).
Elisabeth – director at Knightsbridge, a “travel and lifestyle agency” and “elite concierge service” with a membership fee of $50,000 a year – has seen her own share of extravagant purchases.
“They just want to see what the best of the best looks like. There isn't really a budget; they just want what they want and want to make it happen,” she said of her customers' Christmas gifts.
She revealed that Knightsbridge once helped someone purchase a $5 million vineyard in Tuscany, Italy, as a Christmas gift, complete with a country house and “own honey and olive oil production facilities.”
The consultant to the stars also recalled a time when one of her clients flew their racehorse-obsessed loved one to a “top stable” for the holidays, where they met the “jockeys” for an intimate lesson.

As for what's most common on the wish lists of the rich and famous, Nicole said (seen) that many of her clients want to go to space. She added: 'That's the ultimate flex for the billionaire class'
Both ladies agreed that coming up with ideas for people who already have a lot can be difficult, so they explained that many of their clients tend to give experiences rather than material goods to their family members.
'For everyone, and of course for the rich, time is your most precious commodity,' Elisabeth presented.
According to the New Yorker, lavish vacations are a top gift — and she revealed that she once rented a private villa in Africa for a client and his family, where rooms can cost up to $40,000 for a single night.
Winston Chesterfield, founder of British consulting firm Barton, also told the publication that one of his clients told his daughter she could use $500,000 for private jet rides so she could travel wherever she wanted for Christmas.
