A 3,942-piece Lego version of Jabba’s Sail Barge is coming this fall

Jabba’s magnificent Sail Barge is the next addition to Lego’s Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series. The 3,942-piece set retails for $499.99 and will be available first to Lego Insiders members on October 3. It will be available to everyone on October 6. The last time Jabba’s Sail Barge was turned into a Lego set was in 2013, but back then it was just 850 pieces. This much larger version is certainly more intimidating, and its sheer size allows for a much higher level of detail than previous versions. When fully assembled, the Sail Barge’s side can be lowered to reveal a cross-section of the interior, showing the cockpit, prison cells, armory, kitchen, and a throne for Jabba himself.

This set includes exclusive minifigures of some of the biggest names in Star Wars, such as Princess Leia, C-3PO, Jabba the Hutt, and R2-D2. I’m especially happy to see that there are also some lesser known minifigures included, such as Bib Fortuna, Kithaba, Vision, Woofthe Gamorrean Guard, Lusty crumbAnd Max Rebo.
