Tom Holland reveals intimate Christmas plans with girlfriend Zendaya and hints at their longterm future while admitting she is the ‘best thing that’s ever happened to me’
Spider-Man star Tom Holland is spending Christmas with Zendaya and her family, but plans to reunite both of their loved ones for a joint festive celebration next year.
The British actor, 28, has been in a relationship with the American superstar since 2021 after meeting on the set of the Marvel film.
And the couple will further strengthen their relationship by spending the holidays together in the US at a ‘secret’ location.
Despite being away from his own family, including comedian dad Dominic, 57, and fellow actor brother Paddy, 20, Tom insists he is looking forward to Christmas as he was abroad for the last time during the festive period when he was in a hotel room.
Speaking about his plans, Tom said: ‘I’m going to America this year, I’ll be with my girlfriend’s family which will be fun. Where we will be is a secret.’
He added: ‘The first time I spent Christmas away from home was in America, and unfortunately not by choice…

“I did two films back to back through COVID. Did two press trips due to COVID and didn’t get COVID once the entire time. And after the Spider-Man 3 premiere was the last day of work I had, I was supposed to fly home for Christmas the next day, and I got COVID.
“So I spent about two weeks in mainly the guest room and just being alone. To be honest, it was a pretty tough Christmas. This year will be great. This will be great.’
And he hopes next year, given how his relationship with the Euphoria star, 28, is progressing, both families will spend it together.
He explained, “I think we would rather do it every year with every family than just bring the families together.
“That’s what I think we want to do next time. This time, because we are both actors, we are bad at organizing things. So it hasn’t happened yet. The thought is there. The idea has been planted.’
Tom and Zendaya have become one of Hollywood’s most talked-about couples since finding love on set while filming Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016.
When not appearing at red carpet events and film premieres, they manage to keep a low profile and are often pictured walking with their dog Noon in London.
Tom admits that he enjoys cooking for Zendaya and has been preparing her meals while she is in Boston filming the movie The Drama, which also stars Robert Pattinson.

However, his culinary skills are not impressed as he admits he struggles to prepare edible meals for vegetarian Zendaya.
Speaking to the Dish podcast, which is hosted by former Radio 1 Breakfast Show presenter Nick Grimshaw and Michelin star chef Angela Hartnett, he said: ‘I’m starting to enjoy doing a lot of vegetarian cooking.
“My girlfriend is a vegetarian, so I’ve been in Boston the last few weeks and she’s been working, so I’ve been doing a lot of the dinners. They haven’t been great.
‘There have been a few things like: let’s just order something. But no, but I really enjoy it. I don’t find it stressful at all. I really like it. I do need a neat kitchen.’
Tom revealed that Zendaya’s specialty in the kitchen is an Italian dish that is a celebrity favorite.
He added, “I love Zendaya’s spicy vodka fusilli thingymajiggy she makes. And it’s delicious. Yes. It’s really good. The vodka doesn’t do much though.’
Tom emphasizes that dating a fellow actor has major upsides, especially when it comes to being able to stay together on location and convey hidden messages with just a look.
According to Tom, being with Zendaya, who also starred in The Greatest Showman and this year’s Challengers, is “the best thing that ever happened to me.”

He said, “Studios love it, one hotel room. Separate drivers. We’re not crazy now. Listen, it’s work, okay?! Oh God, yes. It’s a saving grace. Yes, the best thing that ever happened to me.
“But it’s just perfect when you’re on set and a director gives you a note that maybe you don’t agree with, or I know she doesn’t like it that much, and it’s just a familiar look at each other. others, I can’t wait to talk about that later.”
Despite launching non-alcoholic beer brand BERO this year, a project close to his heart following his journey to sobriety, Tom admits that starting a new business is not on his radar.
He says acting is still in his future and he’s “excited” to start filming Christopher Nolan’s next movie, which also stars Zendaya.
Tom said: “I don’t foresee myself becoming an entrepreneur and enjoying building companies.
“This is so personal to me that I felt like this was something I had to do. Like I would like to start, I don’t know, as a casual wear brand, like no one needs another casual wear brand. You know? Um, so, and, and with acting, like I love acting.
‘One of the great aspects of it is that you can get away from it all for a while. But I haven’t worked in three years.’
About his next project, he said, “It hasn’t started shooting yet. To be completely honest, I don’t know anything about it. I’m super excited. Um, everything is very, very quiet.
I met him. It was great. He kind of loosely threw in what it was. And I’m sure when he’s ready, he’ll announce what it is. Yes. It’s a Christopher Nolan movie.’
