Simone Holtznagel shares a very telling post about her split with celebrity trainer Jono Castano

Simone Holtznagel has hinted that she is well and truly over her ex Jono Castano.

The model, 31, split from her former boyfriend, 33, on Easter Sunday, just nine weeks after they welcomed their daughter Gia.

Taking to her Instagram Story on Wednesday, Simone shared a telling post, revealing that Jono was very much in her rearview mirror.

The blonde beauty shared a photo showing two cards from a pack of Beyond Words cards.

The card game contains 52 cards with inspiring aphorisms, accompanied by illustrations by artist See Aiche.

Simone’s photo showed one card face down, while another had a quote from an “unknown” source.

The quote read: ‘The best revenge is no revenge. Move on, be happy.”

The post appeared to be a pointed comment on her relationship with Jono, five months after their divorce.

Jono confirmed the news of their split to Ny Breaking Australia in July, and Simone has since said she is raising Gia alone, cryptically noting that she “couldn’t change” the man she loved.

She told me Stellar: ‘I wanted to be an example for my daughter; that’s something that has changed for me.

‘One day I thought, ‘What am I doing? This is not correct.

“And I would hate for her to ever be in this situation.”

She continued, “At the end of the day, you have to do what’s right for you.

“No matter how many promises or whatever people make, if they show you who they are, believe them.

‘Because you can’t change people.’

Simone also said that she is content raising Gia alone and is confident she made the right choice.

‘I’ve never been so sure of anything, and I know I can do it myself.

“It’s a shame that I have to do most of it alone, but I really couldn’t think of it any other way,” she said.

‘What I do just feels very good to me. The most important thing for me is that Gia is happy and healthy, and that I am happy too.’

The couple first started dating in 2022, months after Jono confirmed his split from his long-time partner Amy.

Celebrity personal trainers Jono and Amy were high school sweethearts but divorced in 2021 after 15 years together.

Simone confirmed she and Jono were expecting their first child last October and welcomed Gia on Easter Sunday, March 31.

Jono has since moved on with fashion designer Nilofar Khirzad.

The new couple went Instagram official with their relationship when Nilofar shared a photo of them sharing a kiss during a night out in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.

Jono first sparked rumors that he was involved in a new relationship after he was spotted liking Nilofar’s Instagram posts and leaving very flirty comments.

In a post shared on October 11, Nilofar showed off pieces from her brand Khirzad as she posed in a $290 burgundy blouse and $389 orange skirt, with Jono commenting on a fire emoji beneath the photos.
