Matthew Perry has featured some very big stars such as Jennifer Aniston, Julia Roberts and Valerie Bertinelli in his new book.

And the reception has been incredible, as the 53-year-old former Friends star has gotten tons of headlines for being linked to these beautiful women.

So it’s no wonder the new author said he was “nervous” because his book Friends, Lovers, And The Big Terrible Thing was due out Tuesday. Perry showed off the fresh out of the box memoir on social media on Friday.

Matthew looked healthy as he brushed back his salt and pepper hair while wearing a gray sweater with glasses on.

“It’s almost here,” the Fools Rush In star said above the photo.

“It was a long journey to make Friends Lovers book, and it was such a surreal and emotional moment to finally hold the finished book in my hands.

“I’m excited — and nervous — and proud — to share my story with you.”

Most shockingly, Perry claimed to have kissed Valerie Bertinelli when her husband Eddie Van Halen passed out.

Bertinelli and Perry worked together on the TV show Sydney in 1990.

Perry, 53, claims in his memoir that his crush on the former child star became so intense that he made love to her one night after her then-husband Eddie reportedly lost consciousness. Page six.

The actor recently sat down for an upcoming interview with Diane Sawyer in which he discussed the importance of having friends and a social safety net to fight his years-long struggle with addiction.

Perry writes in his memoir that his stint as Valerie’s brother in Sydney became intense as he “fell madly in love with Valerie Bertinelli, who was clearly in a difficult marriage.”

He adds: ‘My crush was crushing; Not only was she way out of my league, but she was married to one of the most famous rock stars in the world, Eddie Van Halen.”

Perry describes how intense his crush on the actress was, which prompted him to plan a future together.

“It’s important to point out that my feelings for Valerie were real. I was totally captivated – I mean, I was obsessed with her and had elaborate fantasies about her leaving Eddie Van Halen and spending the rest of her days with me,” he writes.

It eventually escalated when he was invited to Bertinelli and Van Halen’s home, where he “just hung out and stared at Valerie, trying to make her laugh.”

“When you made her laugh, you felt ten feet tall,” he gushes.

But “Eddie had been enjoying the fruits of the vine a little too hard, one more time, and in the end he just passed out, not ten feet from us,” says Perry, adding, “This was my chance!

“If you think I didn’t stand a chance in hell, you’re wrong, dear reader – Valerie and I had a long, elaborate make-out session. It happened—maybe she felt the same as me.’

He claims that Bertinelli even seemed to reciprocate his affection.

“I told her I’d thought long and hard about doing that, and she said it right back,” Perry says.

Bertinelli responded to TikTok shortly afterwards.

He also said he had a big crush on Aniston before Friends even started, but she didn’t seem interested.

The star has also described a secret Hollywood date that went very wrong 15 years ago.

The actor said he was in a relationship with Cameron Diaz after she split from Justin Timberlake in 2007.

He begins the story by telling that he’s set up with movie star Diaz — best known for There’s Something About Mary and Charlie’s Angels — for a date, according to PageSix.

It was shortly after she split from pop star Timberlake in 2007. Diaz was single and apparently open to dating.

It wasn’t a one-on-one date with Perry, but rather a group dinner where they got to know each other.

When she entered the room, Perry said she was “immediately stoned.”
