Stephen A. Smith goes nuclear on Democrats after ‘finding something else that they have lied about’
Stephen A. Smith has revealed his anger at Democrats after a report suggested they lied about the role of federal agents in the January 6 riots.
Smith is best known for his sports commentary on ESPN’s First Take and was recently rumored to have signed an extension with the network in the range of six years and $120 million.
However, he often ventures outside the sports world on The Stephen A. Smith Show, which is independent from the network, and has also appeared on Sean Hannity’s show to talk about current events.
Although generally defined as a liberal, Smith recently criticized Joe Biden for pardoning his son Hunter and again went on the left after a Justice Department report was released on the FBI’s role in the events in the Capitol.
‘My big problem is that I’m really fed up every time I turn around. Finding something else that Democrats have lied about, downplayed or misrepresented,” he said in response to the report and the Democratic Party’s attitude toward the public in general.
A report from the inspector general’s office said there was no evidence that undercover FBI agents were in the crowd or on Capitol Hill.
But the inspector general revealed that the Justice Department had 26 confidential human sources working for the FBI in Washington DC during the protests.
He said this shows that these revelations prove the claims made by Donald Trump when he expressed that the trial was rigged. The Democrats are this or that. They’re talking about us, but look what they’re doing.’

Although generally defined as a liberal, Smith recently criticized Joe Biden for pardoning his son Hunter and again went on the left’s attack following the release of a Justice Department report on the FBI’s role in the events in the Capitol.
He blasted Kamala Harris and Joe Biden for not saying anything about this while crying about an insurrection ahead of the election.
Smith claimed that this made it increasingly difficult to defend liberal values against people like Hannity, Candace Owens or Megyn Kelly.
‘You know what really worries me?! I’m really going crazy. And every time they open their mouths about something that affects all of you, they seem to be right.”
He elaborated on how Democrats refuse to rise above the accusations they have leveled against their Republican opponents.
‘We can discuss policy. We can discuss politics all day long. But the Democrats worked very hard to show that the right had a monopoly on insidious, evil tendencies. Corrupt tendencies. Duplicitous, hypocritical, untruthful tendencies and every time they made those accusations.
‘We turn around and find out that at least some of them are guilty of the same s***. I don’t know about you, but I’m tired of it all.’
Confidential human sources work with the FBI to provide them with information and insights into the inner workings of organizations that threaten the country, such as criminal, terrorist and espionage networks.
Four of the confidential human sources entered the Capitol building, 13 of them entered the restricted area around the Capitol.

The report stated that there was a confidential human source who was in contact with the leadership of far-right groups such as the Oath Keepers and was aware of the plans discussed by the Proud Boys.
Vice President JD Vance responded to the news social media on Thursday afternoon.
“For those keeping score at home, this was labeled a dangerous conspiracy theory months ago,” he wrote.
The report stated that none of the confidential sources had authority to enter the Capitol or break the law, but that four of them did.
“None of the CHSs who entered the Capitol or any restricted area have been prosecuted to date,” the report said.
The report faults the FBI for failing to disseminate information about potential violence to surrounding offices.
“The FBI should therefore have inquired with its field offices for relevant CHS information by January 6,” the report said.
The report shows that the inspector general’s office reviewed more than 500,000 documents and interviewed more than 200 witnesses for their report.

It comes after Trump signaled last week that he plans to use Joe Biden’s pardon for his son Hunter to his own advantage and pardon the January 6 suspects.
“Does Joe’s pardon to Hunter include the J-6 hostages, who have been held captive for years now? What an abuse and miscarriage of justice!’ Trump wrote this in his first public comments since Biden announced the pardon on Sunday.
That came not long after Fox News commentator Charlie Hurt made the connection.
“I think he should at least commute the sentences of all of them and pardon everyone who was clearly just following the person in front of them as he wandered around the capital,” he said.
‘Forgive them all. There were those who did more than just that. And I think he should commute their sentences and set them all free! One by one,” he said.
According to the Justice Department, 140 police officers were attacked during the attack on the Capitol, including 80 U.S. Capitol Police officers and 60 from D.C.’s Metropolitan Police Department.
Trump repeatedly raised the idea of the pardon during his campaign. His new choice to lead the FBI, Kash Patel, has also taken over the case of the January 6 defendants. He also played “Justice for All,” a rendition of the national anthem as sung by the Jan. 6 defendants, at campaign rallies.
More than 1,200 people have been charged on charges related to January 6. Many fought with police officers. Others were accused of interfering with official proceedings on a day when Congress met to certify the electoral votes that made Joe Biden president.
In an interview with TIME Magazine released Thursday, Trump said he would pardon some of the rioters who were prosecuted and jailed that day once he took office.
“We’re going to look at each individual case, and we’re going to do that very quickly, and it starts in the first hour that I come into office,” he said. “And a vast majority of them shouldn’t be in prison.”
