Netflix fans have given rave reviews to a romance film starring Lindsay Lohan, saying it’s ‘the best’ example of a genre film they’ve ever seen.

Through the Facebook group Netflix Bangers, which has more than three million members, a user asked whether the film was worth watching.

Others were effusive in their praise of the film in the comments, saying, “I loved it so much.”

Another wrote: ‘I loved loved loved this movie! I’ve watched it 3 times already. The best romantic film!’

One gushed: “I liked it so much.”

The film in question is Irish Wish, which follows the journey of Maddie Kelly (Lohan), a book editor whose dream man is just days away from marrying her best friend in Ireland.

However, a spontaneous wish on an ancient stone magically changes her fate and turns her into the bride.

After the film was officially announced in September 2022, production began in Ireland that same month.
