The Bachelor’s Holly Kingston shares honest update on postpartum journey just days after giving birth

Holly Kingston has shared a candid update on her postpartum journey, just days after the birth of her newborn son.

The reality star, 30, who shares her first child with husband Jimmy Nicholson, 34, took to Instagram on Sunday to let her 173,000 followers know how she was coping after giving birth to her son.

Holly shared a photo of herself in a bra and pants, giving her fans a glimpse of her ‘deflated’ stomach.

Above the image she wrote: ‘This is three days after a c-section, it feels a bit like a deflating fluffy pancake.’

The reality star also revealed that she stopped taking painkillers because she was about to breastfeed.

“A little painful, but nothing unbearable,” she continued, before admitting that her “emotions” outweighed the physical pain.

“It was a roller coaster (one I would change for the whole world), but definitely not all sunshine, little showers and rainbows,” she admitted.

Holly and Jimmy met on The Bachelor in 2021 and announced last week that they had welcomed their son, Lennox James Nicholson.

The reality TV lovebirds took to Instagram on Wednesday to confirm the arrival of their son.

They shared a gallery of adorable photos of their newborn as they gushed about their growing family in an adorable caption.

“Meet our beautiful Lenny boy, who came into our lives Monday night… 3.35kg, breech and bottom first via C-section (yes, he’s already a stubborn little thing, just like his parents),” it wrote couple.

“At the risk of sounding cliché, it’s certainly true what they say: There’s no manual that prepares you for this kind of love overnight.”

The caption continued, “Thank you for choosing us little man, waking up to you these past few mornings has truly felt like a dream.”

“You already have us wrapped around your very long fingers and toes,” they concluded in the sweet tribute.

Their famous friends and followers were quick to reply to the comments with congratulations for the happy couple.

“So beyond happy for you all. Welcome to the world Lennox, you have no idea how lucky you are,” Laura Byrne wrote on The Bachelor.

“Oh my. CONGRATULATIONS and welcome to the world little one,” Rebecca Gibney added.

It wasn’t long before cricket WAG Erin Holland joined the chorus, writing: ‘Congratulations you two! He is divine xx.”
