Expert issues horrifying warning about origin of mysterious drones surveying America: ‘Too large, too well organized’

Unmanned drones spotted over New York, New Jersey and several other states in recent weeks could be the result of foreign powers spying on the United States.

Gordon Chang, a senior fellow at the Gatestone Institute and an expert on Chinese affairs, believes the drones may be the work of actors from abroad.

“These activities are too large and too well organized to be the work of hobbyists,” Chang claimed during an appearance at Fox Business .

‘That leaves foreign powers. It could be Iran in relation to China, but it is clear that someone is trying to divert our attention.”

The presence of the drones has caused both alarm and confusion, with few answers from authorities.

The Biden administration and the Pentagon continue to fail to provide any clarity on the origins or purpose of the drones, increasing frustration and leaving critics wondering how such incidents can go unsolved in an age of sophisticated surveillance.

“How is it possible that the Pentagon doesn’t know? I don’t buy it,” I noted Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo, who expresses the skepticism that many Americans feel.

The rise in mysterious drone activity has drawn comparisons to the infamous series of Chinese spy balloons that brazenly floated across the United States last year, making headlines and fueling fears of foreign surveillance.

With local officials remaining tight-lipped, theories abound, ranging from espionage to advanced reconnaissance efforts by foreign adversaries.

Chang also issued a strong warning about the potential risks of focusing solely on the drones: “What really worries me is what they could be doing elsewhere. It could very well be that we are affected in a different way.’

Chang expressed frustration over the handling of cases involving foreigners involved in surveillance activities, stressing that they should not be handled through civilian courts.

“This is a military violation,” Chang said. ‘The person should be in a military cell, because the civilian system cannot process these people well and quickly enough. We have to get them off the streets.’

A wave of footage of the drones has emerged since they were first spotted last month, and this week some of the clearest video footage is emerging in New Jersey.

Video taken at shows in Somerset County three ‘mysterious drones in the sky’, two of which move extremely close as if interacting with each other.

New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy said the drones are “very advanced” and explained: “As soon as we spot them [the drones]they become dark.”

“I don’t blame people for being frustrated,” Governor Murphy continued, adding that he had spent most of last Sunday coordinating the issue with both the White House and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in hopes of getting answers to get.

New York Governor Kathy Hochul also denounced the Biden administration’s bumbling response to the crisis, telling the White House that the bizarre episode has “gone too far.”

The Biden administration has maintained that the drones do not pose a threat to public safety and do not pose a threat to the security of the country.

The FBI has received more than 3,000 tips since the first sighting on November 18, with reports of varying levels of credibility surfacing in at least twelve New Jersey counties, as well as eastern Pennsylvania and Orange County, New York.

As the drone mystery deepens, Fox host Bartiromo continued to express widespread concerns about the lack of transparency from government agencies.

“It’s been weeks,” she said. “At this point, it’s really not right that the Pentagon hasn’t given us more information. Of course everyone will speculate, but we need real answers to understand what is going on.”

Meanwhile, geopolitical tensions with China continue to cast a long shadow. Bartiromo highlighted the ongoing surveillance efforts near US military bases, noting that “the fact that China is watching America is no secret. Everyone knows their surveillance program is in place.”

In an unexpected twist, it was reported that newly elected President Donald Trump has invited Chinese President Xi Jinping to attend his inauguration.

The move has attracted a lot of attention given China’s contentious relationship with the United States. “Why would we invite someone like that to the inauguration?” Chang asked pointedly, referring to Xi’s record of aggression toward the US

The timing of Trump’s invitation coincides with China’s stepped-up efforts to challenge the United States on multiple fronts.

In addition to its surveillance activities, China has also reportedly targeted U.S. companies like NVIDIA with antitrust investigations, which many see as retaliation for U.S. semiconductor export restrictions.
