Insiders reveal how the Democratic Party is locked in a nasty ‘knife fight’ as top politicians seek revenge for Kamala’s $1.5 billion ‘circus of lies’
Warring Democratic factions are engaged in a ‘knife fight’ for control of the Party following Kamala Harris’ humiliating election loss, political insiders say.
The battle lines are now being drawn between liberals on the West Coast, Bernie Sanders socialists and moderate technocrats in the Midwest, who insist the party has completely lost touch with the average American voter.
But first, there is one thing that all parties seem to agree on: the current political establishment must be driven out of national politics for good.
There will be a reckoning.
“The people responsible for this shitshow are Obama’s people. They’re just scammers,” a well-connected Democratic donor told Daily Mail exclusively.
He mentioned Jen O’Malley Dillon, who went on to serve Harris’ camp in the same role from Biden’s 2024 campaign chairman, and David Plouffe, an ex-Obama campaign manager from 2008 who became Kamala’s top adviser.
Deep-pocketed left-wing clients are outraged by Plouffe’s post-election admission that Harris never led Trump in their internal election campaigns, despite public surveys showing her with a lead.
‘[Polls] came out in late September, early October and showed us clues we’ve never seen before,” Plouffe revealed on the Democrat-friendly “Pod Save America” podcast late last month.

Lefties are outraged by Plouffe’s (above) post-election admission that Harris never led Trump in their internal election campaigns, despite public polls showing her with an edge.
‘They lied to us. It’s just a circus of lies,” the donor exploded, complaining that Harris’ team regularly painted a much rosier picture when speaking to supporters who signed big checks.
Particularly galling to these critics is that Harris’ campaign has also managed to blow through an unprecedented $1.5 billion in donor money over the course of fifteen weeks—and with barely anything to show for it, lost control of the White House and Senate and failed to turn over power. the House of Representatives.
For example, the campaign spent nearly $1 million to illuminate the 370-foot-high, 550-foot-wide LED screen surrounding The Sphere arena in Las Vegas.
The comic monument played a 90-second Harris campaign ad for a week.
“$900,000 to put her face on The Sphere in Las Vegas! The ego!’ sued Democrat megadonor and litigator John Morgan last month. He describes himself as a “Joe Biden Democrat.”
Other examples of alleged profligate spending included $2.5 million in production costs for an Oprah Winfrey town hall event in September.
And alleged donations totaling $500,000 were made to Rev. Al Sharpton’s National Action Network charity (Harris was later treated to a softball interview on Sharpton’s MSNBC show).
“People are angry, and rightly angry,” Democratic strategist Mike Nellis, a former senior adviser to Harris, told the Mail.

Donors like John Morgan are seriously suspicious.
‘There’s a lot of whispering. There are a lot of names out there about who got paid for this, who got that, and a lot of people got rich because of donors who tried to stop Trump,” he said.
Of Harris, he concluded, “I think this disqualifies her forever. Forever.’
“If you can’t run a campaign, you can’t run America… The same thing will haunt Harris for the rest of her career. She can’t be trusted with the money.’
Certainly, those vying to become the next Democratic National Committee boss are determined to get to the bottom of it all.
Ken Martin, chairman of the Minnesota Party and front-runner for the top position at the DNC, has called for an external audit of the entire Democratic party infrastructure.
‘I think you look at everything. It’s not just contracts and consultants, it’s not just ad spend and media buys, it’s A to Z,” he told MSNBC this week.
Another DNC chairman hopeful, Wisconsin Democratic Party Chairman Ben Wikler, agrees: “There needs to be a full review, a full and formal evaluation of this last cycle – the good, the bad and the ugly .’
Regardless, Harris insists she isn’t going anywhere and has “instructed advisers and allies to keep her options open,” according to reports.
The VP still has supporters, even among those vying to become the next chairman of the DNC.
Consultants who spoke to the Mail described her four-month race as ‘almost perfect’ and ‘almost flawless’, despite the result. If Harris were given more time, they say, he could come back in a future bid.
“Kamala Harris, whether she knows it or not, is the face of the party, if she wants to be,” said Democratic strategist Michael Trujillo. “The day after Trump is sworn in, she could announce her run for president in 2028.”
They blame Biden for staying in the race too long and not giving Harris enough time to get a campaign off the ground.
Indeed, relations between the Harrises and Bidens appear to have become downright frosty.
At an awards ceremony at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC on Sunday, the president and first lady sat next to the second couple, but did not acknowledge their presence or even look in their direction.
Things are getting ugly.
Former Speaker Nancy Pelosi is reportedly working behind the scenes to sabotage Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s bid to become ranking member of the powerful House Oversight Committee.
Former Chicago mayor and outgoing ambassador to Japan Rahm Emanuel has criticized his party in recent weeks for its elitism, focusing too much on woke views and special interests rather than average Americans.
“Here’s what I would say to Democrats: Do you have a YETI cup? Sit down and shut up,” Emmanuel said this month.

California Governor Gavin Newsom threw a shovelful of dirt on Biden’s political grave after the president pardoned his son Hunter despite promising not to do so.
“I took the president at his word,” Newsom said last week. “So by definition I am disappointed and cannot support the decision.”
And even Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont has gotten in on the action.
He provoked an angry response from establishment Democrats almost immediately after the election when he deplored Harris’ “disastrous campaign” to “abandon” the working class.
For some, all this bloodshed is welcome.
“Look into the abyss and see what comes of it, because I think the Democratic Party is bad at having hard internal conversations about what went right and what went wrong,” said former Harris adviser Nellis.
But what comes next is most crucial – and there are already early signs of the skirmish.
“There is a reckoning within the Democratic Party,” says CNN commentator and left-wing activist Van Jones. “Kamala Harris promised us freedom… well, she gave it to us, because now we don’t have to run anything in Washington, DC.”
