The ‘red flag’ that marked the end of Megan Fox and MGK’s relationship after ‘adopting star personas’

Machine Gun Kelly and pregnant Megan Fox made headlines this week when they announced their split – but according to a body language expert, the two were ‘never a couple who shared more than their adopted star personas with the world’.

The couple has been in an on-again, off-again relationship since 2020, at one point even going a step further by getting engaged.

And just a month ago, in November, Fox announced in an emotional Instagram post that she was pregnant after suffering a miscarriage.

However, it looks like things are now over for good between the two as it was revealed that Fox allegedly broke up with Kelly after finding text messages from other women on his phone.

According to body language expert Judi James, who analyzed a series of photos of the couple taken during their romance, including the most recent sighting of the two in August, they appeared focused on their public appearance together.

“Megan and MGK’s body language and styling made them the red carpet version of Barbie and Ken in rock mode,” James revealed exclusively to DailyMail.com.

‘Performative in terms of their posing together, they brought a performance art feel to their performances as they strove to outdo Kourtney [Kardashian] and Travis [Barker] in terms of super stylish ‘grunge’ sexiness,” she continued.

James also noted that when they were together, Megan “looked like the adult in the room,” as she was an “adept camera chaser and effortless lens hogger,” while Kelly seemed the opposite.

“MGK used to display a more sheepish grin and accommodating demeanor, suggesting he was a bit boyishly impressed by both his girlfriend and their level of press interest when they appeared as a couple,” James explained.

However, she did note that Kelly’s body language seemed to “grow” during their long relationship, even emerging “during periods of challenge and disagreement with the press, as Meghan pouted and squirmed but stayed pretty much out of the way.”

“They were never a couple who shared more than their adopted star personas,” The Body Language Bible star told DailyMail.com.

“Even their sexier red carpet poses are best viewed in context, as they are re-engaged every time they reach another pinstripe on the carpet.

“Their enduring love language signal or PDA (public displays of affection) from the red carpet was their hand clasp, that was kind of a constant.”

However, according to James, their last appearances together seemed to reveal a lot about their relationship.

When they were spotted together for the last time in August, they seemed to be back in “celebrity duo mode,” James said.

“Megan looked happy as she posed slightly behind MGK and held his hand with the kind of demure, demure smile on her face that you normally see on famous women who want to appear coyly in love with their partner.”

‘MGK was in ‘eternal teen’ mode with its styling, but Megan’s T-shirt suggested she was keen to offer a compatible style ‘fit’.’

The two were spotted together again in November, when Fox shyly showed support for Kelly while attending the GQ Men of the Year event in Los Angeles.

Fox stayed in their Rolls-Royce, while the rapper entered the party alone.

Witnesses said Kelly stayed at the party for about 45 minutes to an hour before leaving and returning home with the expectant mother.

However, according to the body language expert, Fox’s stay in the car was a ‘red flag’.

“The moment Megan stayed in the back of the car while MGK got out to appear at yet another event was a red flag,” James explained.

“Could she have ridden with him just to say a fond farewell to him before he went there alone? He waved as he left the car, which became more of a weak slap for the cameras, [walking] away with his head and shoulders bowed before disappearing into the shadows leading to the entrance.’

She even suggested that Fox was willing to go to the apparition before backing down.

“However, Megan was seen in the car and gave no indication that she had gone for a quick drive before chilling on the sofa at home for a takeaway,” James said.

‘She seemed prepared for an appearance and her facial expression all in one [picture] which made her look unhappy or pained.”

Just months before the two split in March, Fox had admitted during an interview on Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast that she and Kelly were “twin souls” despite their relationship status.

‘What I can say is that [he] is what I call my ‘twin soul,’ and there will always be a connection with him no matter what,” she said on the podcast.

“I can’t say for sure what the capacity will be, but somehow I will always be connected to him. I’m not prepared to explain further.

“All those things you said were accurate things that happened. And I could tell that they were confusing or interesting to people, and they were like, ‘What’s going on?’
