California Boy, 15, has amputated fingers and horrible face injuries after Vape has been blown in his face
A teenager in California approached serious injuries to his face and hands after a vape exploded, burning by bones and ligaments.
The fifteen-year-old Aiden Dean Adams was evaporating with friends under a viaduct close to his house in Bakersfield when the filled device of Nicotine burned when he lifted it to his mouth and sent granely shards into his face.
Aiden walked to the road, his hand damn and mutilated, and put it out to hitch a ride with a passing driver who brought him home to shocked parents. They called 911 and within a few minutes an ambulance Aiden seemed to bring to the hospital.
Doctors spent hours operating his mutilated hands, including the recovery of his thumb, which was ‘almost completely chopped’ and part of his middle and wise fingertips amputated.
The teenager was secretly vapen since he was ten. His parents would find vapen around his room and become suspicious if he sneaked out of the house for walks.
His father, Robert Dean Adams, said that he and his wife had argued at Aiden not to do it because of the countless health risks, including lung diseases, heart injury and addiction: “But I am not ignorant – he is a teenager.”
Mr Adams said he was shocked to find his son in front of his door with his hand ‘just turned in out … Hung figures. Lots of fabric exposure, you could see bone, fingers, hand, ligaments. ‘
On the way to the hospital, the Lord and Mrs. Adams thought that their son could die. “What happened to him – the vape exploded,” said Mr Adams, “was never in my mind.”
After the explosion, surgeons tried to raise his hand. His thumb was almost cut off, the bone was exposed in its palms and his index and middle fingers hung on by a wire
The explosion sent grenade shards in the face of Aiden. According to his father it was an ‘ugly’ face and his hands ‘terrible’
Aiden’s thumb was saved, but different fingertips were not. Recovery will probably take a few weeks and he will be from school until further notice.
It was known that Aiden was known to tackle and change away vapen from the ground so that they worked again.
This time, Aiden said he had had the vape for a while and had received from another person. But he would not go further.
Before his hands in the explosion were mutilated, he had walked to a viaduct nearby to meet his friends.
His parents said he had been in a good mood before he left compared to his usually filthy mood.
The vape he used, a nerd vape orange fcuking fcuking fab geek bar pulse x 25k, did not work correctly.
Aiden hit the ground, thinking that something within the device was incorrectly aligned or stuck and could be hit in place.
He brought it to his mouth, and “Boom!” Said his father. “A big flash is everything (Aiden) remembers.”
Doctors were able to save and confirm the thumb of Aiden, but had to amput the ends of his middle and wise fingers on the one hand
Fortunately, someone noticed the boy and picked him up. Fortunately, Aiden was still with his right mind and he could calmly give his address to the driver.
Mr Adams said that he had never seen an explosion injury up close until the stranger helped his son through the door. Both hands were “terrible,” he said.
Mr. Adams said: ‘The palm of his hand was just turned inside out. It is the first time that I have ever seen an explosive injury first.
“There was a lot of damage to soft tissue. Figures hung. Lots of fabric exposure that you could see bone, fingers, hand, ligaments.
‘His entire inside left hand was fully exposed. It has almost completely breaking its thumb. The basis of the thumb all the way to where he meets the wrist. That all stopped.
He added that part of Aiden’s hair was sealed, grenade shards had pierced his face and his shirt was covered with blood.
Mrs Adams called for an ambulance, while Mr Adams wrapped the hand of their son in a towel. In the meantime, Aiden was calm and gathered all the time, they said.
Although the outcome of Aiden is expected to be positive, it is a long way to accept damage.
The explosion burned the breast of Aiden and his hands. When he got home, the hair of Aiden was sung, his shirt was burned and the material was still smoldering

Aiden will recover, although it will take a few weeks. The injury will give his life on hold for a while because he will be more notified of school
He had recently bought a guitar and hoped to learn to play. He lost that power.
Mr. Adams is a former smoker and ‘never trusted’ when they touch the mainstream in the middle of the 2010. For just a few months the popularity of Vapen began to catch up with cigarettes.
About two decades ago, almost 30 percent of teenagers smoked cigarettes. This year it was only 1.7 percent.
Nowadays Vapen are much more popular in that age group than cigarettes. According to the 2024 Youth Tobacco Survey of the federal government, 2.25 million secondary and secondary students were current users of each nicotine product, including cigarettes, vapen and bags.
But health officials were actually optimistic about those findings. The 2024 figures suggest that fewer teenagers try e-cigarettes and become addicted and perhaps more teenagers than ever stop.
While 2.5 million teenagers used tobacco in 2024, that was a total of 2.8 million in total. The use of e-cigarettes decreased considerably in that period of one year, from 2.13 million to 1.63 million.

The vapen industry has been in sight of the government for almost ten years to focus on a young audience in their viral marketing campaigns and keeping their attention with fun, harmless packaging and flavors.
Mr Adams said: ‘This stuff appeared from nowhere. I cannot remember that it was ever advertised to see people other than children.
‘That is who you see more than anyone else. I never trusted these things. I don’t like them. ‘
He added: ‘But we have placed a device that can come into the hands of children who apparently have a very explosive possibility. That there, people need to know about and are trained. If they were, these things would probably not be here. ‘
