The 55-year-old rapper, born Shawn Corey Carter, released a statement via the Roc Nation X account denying the allegations

The rapper said the allegations were “so heinous in nature” and were all “idiotic claims,” ​​calling the lawsuit an “attempt at blackmail.”

‘We don’t play these kinds of games. We have very strict codes and honor,” Carter wrote in response to the allegations in an updated complaint in a civil case against Sean Combs, which alleged they raped a girl at an MTV after-party in 2000.

However, his fans were offended when the rapper referred to himself as a “young man who survived Brooklyn’s project.”

Buzbee represents clients who claim they were abused by Combs, 55.

Combs has been separately charged with sex trafficking and racketeering.

Federal prosecutors allege Combs sexually assaulted women and coerced them into drug-fueled sex parties using threats and violence.

He has denied pleading guilty to all charges, and his criminal trial is currently scheduled to begin on May 5, 2025.
