OzLotto winner comes forward to claim $50million prize

A man from a small rural town has come forward to claim his $50 million OzLotto prize.

The man from Burra, 160km north of Adelaide, which has a population of just 1,100, revealed his working days would be over after he hit the jackpot.

‘Oh my god. I can’t believe it. I said to myself this morning, $50,000 would be fine heading into Christmas, but $50 million.

‘I didn’t even know the Oz Lotto jackpot had been won and there was a winner. I just came in to check my ticket.

When asked how best to enjoy his Oz Lotto bounty, the stunned winner admitted he was too overwhelmed to make firm plans.

‘I don’t think I’m going to work anymore. “I think my work days are done,” he said.

‘This really means everything to me. Absolutely everything,” he said. “I’ll treat myself and help my family.”

The winning numbers for Tuesday’s draw were 1,29,20,23,34,46 and 39, with 42,43 and 24 being the additional numbers.
