More than a hundred suspected drug dealers have been arrested in a state-wide operation that has seen cars, cash and drugs seized.

Between November 22 and December 7, NSW Police arrested and charged 108 people as part of a strike force aimed at dismantling overt dial-a-dealer schemes mainly linked to cocaine.

Of these, 64 were charged with supplying a prohibited drug, 44 were charged with drug possession and one person was also charged with domestic violence-related offences.

More than $20,000 worth of drugs were seized, including 560 grams of cocaine, 78 MDMA capsules, marijuana, ketamine and ice.

Nearly $99,000 in cash and several cars were also seized.

On November 21, a man was arrested at Parliament House.

A 22-year-old man was found driving through Sydney CBD with 14 bags of cocaine and thousands in cash, and a Cronulla teenager was found with 18 bags of cocaine and charged with two counts of drug supply.

A Korean was also arrested in Sydney’s CBD with 21 bags of cocaine and 60 MDMA capsules.

NSW Police Assistant Commissioner Peter McKenna said operations targeting the distribution of illegal drugs in the Sydney area would continue.
