Joe Swash in terrifying car crash as he reveals damage to his vehicle after it was hit by a lorry

Joe Swash was involved in a terrifying car accident on Saturday when he shared a video of his vehicle after it was hit by a truck.

The TV personality, 42, left fans worried after posting a shocking Instagram story about the damage to his car after the crash.

In the short clip, which he has since deleted, his battered vehicle was parked on the side of the highway next to a Scania truck and had significant scratches and dents along the side.

Joe wrote: ‘I got hit by a truck!!! Did the side of my car. F**, before later adding a second story to make it clear he was fine.

He placed a black screen next to the text: ‘Don’t worry, I’m fine! You should have seen the truck! Lol.’

The former EastEnders actor further assured fans they had nothing to worry about as he filmed a video of himself in his panto gear as a ‘sneak peek’.

Joe will star in Beauty and the Beast as Buttons at The Grove in Dunstable this pantomime season and looked delighted as he showed off his blue and gold costume.

He said, “So I thought I’d give you a little peek. This is the little number I’ll be wearing in panto.’

It comes after his wife Stacey Solomon admitted she ‘doesn’t see’ her husband amid his hectic panto schedule.

The TV personality, 35, took to her Instagram last month after attending the Moana 2 premiere in London with their children to give a relationship update.

It comes after Stacey was reportedly left in tears following an argument with Joe in the street in early November.

Stacey said on her Instagram Story: “Home sweet home with my estranged husband. This year he is doing panto, which the children are so excited about.

‘But that means he’s rehearsing every day and won’t be ready until January 7. So we don’t get to see him.’

Joe replied saying: ‘I had to leave the real world and join the panto world. Don’t worry, buddy. I’ll come home one night in my costume and surprise you!’

It comes as Stacey has won a new army of fans with her impressive skills, and this Christmas she will once again showcase her talents in a new BBC Special.

The Sort Your Life Out star will be joined by Joe and their children as part of new show Stacey Solomon’s Crafty Christmas, which airs on BBC One on December 18.

The first photos from the show show Stacey and Joe wearing adorable festive jumpers as she shares her craft skills with her son Rex, four, and daughters Rose, two, and Belle, 22 months.

The one-off special follows Stacey, Joe and the kids as they hand-make gifts and decorations for their family and friends.

In true Stacey style, there are ideas for all ages, with son Leighton helping Stacey make personalized Christmas crackers, and Rex getting messy making marbled baubles for the tree.

Last month, Stacey was reportedly left in tears after an argument with her husband Joe in the street.

In a video obtained by The sunthe mother-of-five was comforted by her reality TV crew as she tried to conceal her appearance in a long brown padded coat.

An onlooker recognized the famous couple, who tied the knot two years ago and share three children, and claimed they saw Joe, 42, storming into the road outside Westcliff at Sea train station in Essex as he furiously drank a vape after the row smoked.

They revealed: ‘Joe came out of a building alone and stormed down the street, he looked angry and sat on some stairs for a while.

“Stacey came out of the building in tears and she looked very emotional, she was hugging someone.”

The video showed Stacey being embraced in a tight hug before another member of production went to check on Joe.

The onlooker added: ‘About 15 minutes later Joe was having an animated conversation with the man.

‘Finally Stacey walked over to Joe in the car and shouted something. In the end they left separately. It all looked very tense.’

The pair are currently filming their new Kardashian-style reality show for the BBC called Escape to Pickle Cottage – the name of her £1.2million home in Essex.

The Osbournes-style fly-on-the-wall series sees the couple open the doors of their Essex estate, giving them an insight into their busy lives and their blended family.

They share three children, Rex, four, Rose, two, and Belle, one, plus Stacey has two older sons from a previous relationship, Zachary, 16, and Leighton, 12. Joe also has son Harry, 16, with his ex – partner.

Stacey and Joe are known to have one of the strongest relationships in the industry.

The former Loose Woman occasionally plays Joe in her BBC1 series Sort Your Life Out, but never before have they filmed a reality show dedicated to their own relationship.

The couple regularly documents their lives on social media, where Stacey in particular has no fewer than six million followers.
