Coleen Rooney channelled husband Wayne’s sports-star focus during I’m A Celebrity twist as she unleashed her competitive side, body language expert reveals
Coleen Rooney channeled husband Wayne’s sports star during last night’s I’m A Celebrity Cyclone trial.
The WAG, 38, was one of eight remaining campmates who took part in the trial to become a ticket that guarantees immunity for the next two rounds of voting and a coveted spot in the epic Cyclone final challenge.
Following Wednesday’s episode, body language expert Judi James revealed that Danny Jones and Alan Halshall displayed ‘aggressive excitement’ as they entered the fray.
However, fan favorite Coleen remained calm, kept her energy and increased her focus because she ‘knows what winning looks like’.
Speaking to Paddy Power Games, Judi said: ‘Coleen, however, stood with her hands folded behind her back in a footballers’ mimicry ritual before a big match.’
Comparing her work during the trial to husband Wayne, 39, she added: ‘Like her husband in his heyday, her speed was incredible once the task started.

‘The bugs that were meant to deter them were dismissed as irrelevant by Coleen with a flick of the head and the shots we got of her glasses face as she picked up the balls showed a constant smile that was almost cheerful, and showed her Wayne. -like total fun when playing for high stakes.’
Judi sweetly nodded to Wayne’s supportive side – after leaving Coleen in tears over a message sent to her in the jungle.
She said: ‘She threw herself onto the tank of fish innards with her hands and arms in a diving gesture to demonstrate total immersion techniques.
“Wayne would have been proud of her, and maybe a little intimidated.
‘Coleen may have gone into the task focused, but like all Premier League footballers she knew that showing off had to come after a win, not before.
“She started with her hands behind her back, but she ended with her hands on her hips and her legs spread in a pose of confident victory that Wayne would have been proud of.”
Tuesday’s episode of the ITV show saw presenters Ant and Dec arrive unexpectedly at the camp for the second time that day.
They revealed that campmates would compete over the next two days to win a ticket to the Cyclone trial.

The campmates were split into two groups to take part in their Bushtucker Trials as it was explained that there would be two winners from each group who would then compete against each other in Thursday’s trial to win a ‘golden ticket’ for the final.
The first four celebrities to enter the Arcade of Agony were Danny Jones, GK Barry, Reverend Richard Coles and Coleen.
Meanwhile, Alan Halsall, Maura Higgins, Barry McGuigan and Oti Mabuse took part in a trial later in the episode.
Ant and Dec revealed the results at the end of the episode, confirming that Coleen, Danny, Maura and Oti won the most tickets and will therefore fight for immunity.
However, the immunity twist was branded ‘manipulative’ by viewers as they slammed the decision, arguing that it has given ITV the power to decide who is in the final.
After watching the first trial, viewers also noticed that the tickets were not counted and thus the winners were not announced, suggesting there was ‘tampering’.

Elsewhere in the trial, medics were called into action after Coleen had a bug stuck in her ear.
As trial time passed, she emerged from her grab booth in shock and shouted, “I’ve got one in my ear!”
Doctors were called in to take a closer look and safely removed it with a syringe, while the creature then crawled out of her ear.
Ant looked on and said, “Oh my god! He just jumped out!’
